Over the weekend on NBC's Meet The Press, host Chuck Todd actually blame the Democrats for the Republicans being so anti-vax in this country. Now, before I get into what he said, let me go ahead and tell you he's right. Once you understand the context from which he's coming, you start to realize like, oh, you know what, he's actually correct about this. So here is the statement from Chuck Todd. I feel like they've been pretty reluctant to go back and put this front and center until this week when I think the Omicron variant made it impossible for them not to do it this way. What are they going to do to push back on anti-vaccine mandate pushback? They are, they've done, they've not defended their vaccine mandate. It's a soft mandate. They've allowed sort of the right to dictate the messaging on that. They're also telling us they want to have more tests available.

That's a promise that goes back two presidencies now. We've been promised more testing, more available testing, quicker, faster, at home for over for almost two years, basically for the entire pandemic and we're still not there. So yes, the testing thing that is also one of the big pieces of news to come out, the Biden administration wants people to get reimbursed from their insurance if they're buying these at-home test kits. But at the same time, we could also just be sending these to people across the country. There's no reason for that not to happen. We're already paying for the tests anyway, the government is, just go ahead and send it to us, you know, bring it right to our door. But the most important thing that Chuck Todd hit on here is the messaging. The Democratic party, the Biden administration, OSHA they came out with this vaccine mandate and immediately started getting hammered by Republicans. How did they push back on that? Does anybody have an answer for that?

No, you don't because no, they didn't. They didn't push back on it. They didn't go out there and try to clear the air. Biden, nobody from his administration did a press conference to come out and say, listen, there's a lot of stupid talk around this vaccine mandate. Let me lay out the facts for you about what this will do because Biden did lay out the facts for us when this thing was announced. Okay. I'm not saying he didn't do that. What I'm saying is the American public is so stupid, you've got to go out there and say it five or six times because all they hear all day long, 50 times a day is how horrible this vaccine mandate is. How it's an attack on our freedoms. How it's supposedly unconstitutional, even though it's clearly constitutional. But they hear it all day every day. So you think saying one thing one time is going to get through their heads? No, you lost the messaging battle on what should have been a hallmark of your COVID-19 strategy. We have to get more people vaccinated.

The more people, not just in America, but all over the country that are unvaccinated, the more new variants are going to emerge, which means that our vaccines, which could be happening right now become obsolete and worthless. And what's funny is I have been saying that since before Delta emerged about the vaccines, that if people don't get vaccinated, variants are going to come, mutations are going to occur and our vaccines aren't going to work and I've been saying that since April, May. Again, before Delta, and now we're on Omicron and oops.
