3:13Now PlayingA capitol rioter is currently facing 6 months in jail after pleading guilty to participating in the Capitol Riot. What makes this story so hilarious is that he was busted because he sent a photo and video of himself inside the Capitol Building to his girlfriend's brother - who happens to be a federal agent. The agent sent the info to the authorities and the rest is history. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins talks about the level of complete stupidity we've witnessed from these rioters.

A Capitol rioter named Thomas Fee has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor, parading charges is what it's called, for being in the front lines of the Capitol riot and he is currently facing six months in prison. Now he has not been sentenced yet. The sentencing is going to come in April. But the interesting thing about this story is how Mr. Fee was caught because he was caught because he sent a selfie and a video to his girlfriend's brother from inside the Capitol during the riot. And he said, we're at the hip of the spear in this text to his girlfriend's brother. Well, it just so happens that his girlfriend's brother is a special agent with the US diplomatic service, who then passed on the messages to the FBI's joint terrorism task force. Mr. Fee was busted because he sent his federal agent girlfriend's brother, a selfie from inside the Capitol.
How stupid can you be? And again, this is not the first idiot who's been busted because they posted a photo or video of themselves inside the Capitol. We have seen so many of these morons busted because they put it all over their social media. They put it on their Facebook. They put it on their Parlers and their GETTRs and their Twitters and they all got busted for it because that's how stupid they are. I mean, listen, nobody should commit crimes. Trust me, nobody should commit crimes. But if you do commit a crime, don't post a video of yourself committing the crime. Uh, you're, you're going to get caught and that's something these idiots didn't quite realize.
And what gets me too, is that Republicans, like this week, Ted Cruz doubling down on, oh no, the, the whole Capital riot was these FBI agents that were stoking this whole thing. Nope. We can go back through the social media. We can go through the text messages of people like Mr. Fee. They were proud to be doing what they were doing. They were happy to be there. They were bragging about it. The FBI didn't do that, Ted. You can't convince us with you're like a year later conspiracy theories, even though you've been pushing it or Republicans been pushing that for the last year. But no, these people were proud of what they did. They were posting these videos. They were sharing their photos because they were happy. They were excited. And ultimately their stupidity, their boastfulness, lead to their downfall.
