It was revealed this week that president Joe Biden is going to request $770 billion for the upcoming year's Pentagon budget. One of the biggest budgets that we have ever seen for anything here in the United States to spend on an already over bloated US military, $770 billion. As Americans struggle with inflation, as they struggle to make ends meet, as they prepare to have to pay back their student loans that have been on pause for two years now, Biden wants to give the military $770 billion. And they say it's for all these vital things, right? We gotta build more ships. We gotta, we gotta buy more F 35 jets. We gotta have all this new technology that apparently didn't exist for this year's $740 billion Pentagon budget, say the very same people who tell us, we can't afford universal healthcare or universal student loan debt forgiveness.

Or a green new deal, or anything at all that would actually benefit your life. And honestly, that's where a lot of this saber-rattling with Russia, Ukraine, all that is coming from. We have to make it seem always like there's this imminent threat right on the horizon. So if we don't spend 700, 800, 900 billion dollars on the military every year, that threat's coming to our borders and we're all gonna die. We have to spend that money. And again, this is a yearly thing. This isn't $770 billion over the next 10 years. This is $770 billion over the next 12 months, which means we as a country would be spending, what would that be, roughly $65 billion per month on military. That's insane. When you have American citizens making the choice between whether or not they're gonna fill their prescriptions or feed their family, that's insane. That is inhumane is what that is.

That is a massive humanitarian crisis of our own creation because clearly we have the money. Clearly we have the money for things like universal healthcare or student loan debt forgiveness. But rather than spending it on that, which would actually help the economy and every study that's looked at it has shown that, would inject more money in, the federal government would make more money. But instead of actually helping average everyday people, we're gonna help the Raytheons. We're gonna help Lockheed Martin. We're gonna help Boeing. We're gonna help all of these defense contractors put more money in their pockets because let's be honest, that's where the bulk of this money goes. It's not going to help increase the pay of service members. It's not going to buy them better equipment so that they don't get killed in the field.

Oh, sure, a little bit here, a little bit there, right? Enough to just maybe shut 'em up for a little bit. But their lives will still be in danger. You know, who's lives won't be? The CEOs, the officials at the Pentagon calling the shots, the members of the Biden administration pushing for &770 billion, they're gonna be fine and they're gonna keep spending this money and they're gonna spend it every year. My prediction is that within the next two years, we're gonna hit $800 billion a year with this Pentagon budget. We're gonna keep seeing these ridiculous talking points from Antony Blinken saying, oh, Russia's gonna invade Ukraine at 1:00 AM tomorrow. That actually happened this week. They, they predicted that.
