According to new reports, Rudy Giuliani is finally working on a plan that would allow him to cooperate with the January 6th Committee. Giuliani doesn't have a legal leg to stand on in refusing to testify, and since he has already made it clear that he's struggling to pay his legal bills, refusing to work with the Committee might not even be something that Giuliani is able to afford - literally. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what the Committee is hoping to get from Giuliani.

Rudy Giuliani is apparently in talks with the January 6th committee to come and sit down finally and tell them what he knows and more importantly, what he personally was involved in, in the lead up to January 6th. And of course, Giuliani is at the heart of everything. We all know in the days after the 2020 election when Rudy Giuliani would go out there periodically give his little press conference, including in front of the four seasons total landscaping and of course, let's not forget the one where his hair was melting off his face. And he would say that the election was stolen. We've got this proof, there was fraud everywhere. Yada, yada, yada, he never produced any fraud. He even got to go to Ohio and speak in front of the Ohio assembly to tell them about all this fraud that he still couldn't prove.

And then of course, he set up his little war room at the Willard hotel in the days prior to January 6th, working with the Trump administration on how they could get Mike Pence to overturn the electoral college results, amid a couple other ideas. One of them of course, was Giuliani reached out personally to officials in Michigan asking them, hey, can you get, can you confiscate the voting machines for us and turn 'em over to me and Donald Trump here. And everybody that he reached out to said, absolutely not. Please don't ever ask me anything like that again. So yes, Giuliani does need to sit before the committee. The question I have is what has changed? Why is Giuliani suddenly trying to work with the committee on the conditions for him to come sit down? Why is he not fighting it? And I think the answer is because Giuliani doesn't have the means to fight it anymore.

Giuliani amongst all of this other stuff is still under criminal investigation, a criminal investigation that was launched because of what he did for Donald Trump. Maybe, maybe not, we don't know yet, at the direction of Donald Trump. But he sure as hell did it for Donald Trump, you know, with his dealings with Ukraine. So he's got that going. That's very expensive. You have to have lawyers. He's being sued for defamation by the voting companies, $1.3 billion. You probably need to have some money in the bank for when you lose that lawsuit, which it's pretty obvious they're all gonna lose. But on top of that money, you also have to pay your lawyers over here. He has reached out to Donald Trump trying to get Trump to pay his legal fees. Trump won't even take his calls. Maybe Rudy should try calling from a secret service agent's cell phone. We've heard the Trump's tend to fall for that scheme.

But either way, Giuliani doesn't have the means, I believe, to keep fighting. And so that's why he's willing to sit down with the committee and say, all right, before I sit down to talk to you, let's, let's lay out the terms. Let's figure this out. Because the last thing Giuliani wants right now is another legal battle that is going to continue to bleed him dry. He's made a lot of money in his career, but his affiliation with Donald Trump has hurt him significantly in the financial area. So it probably is best for him because he knows what he's done and he knows what the committee's after to just finally say, all right, look, I'll do this. And besides Rudy, what are you trying to protect Donald Trump for anyway?
