Marjorie Taylor Greene has released an ad, and it is every bit as crazy as you would expect from her. In addition to calling out war profiteers - like herself - she proceeds to use a military-grade rifle to shoot and explode "things" like the Green New Deal and "socialism." The ad conveys absolutely nothing to viewers other than the fact that things go boom and Greene is making them do that. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses the utter insanity of this new ad.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has a new ad out that she shared on Facebook this week, a two minute and 17 second ad and, uh, it sure light, lit up the internet. And I'm just gonna show you a brief snip of that ad so you can get a sense as to why people had a lot to say about this. Here it is.

And in 2022, I'm going to blow away the Democrat socialist agenda.

That, uh, that was certainly something wasn't it. Um, again, I'm, I'm not gonna make you watch the full two minutes and 17 seconds of it because it is indeed crazy. Okay. That is literally the only way I can explain this ad or describe it, it's crazy. But let's break it down anyway, because we gotta do it, right? She put this out here. We gotta talk about it. So she's, she's got her, you know, high powered military grade weaponry and she's using it to, uh, kill all of these democratic initiatives. The Green New Deal, boom, you're dead. Socialism in general and of course, represented by a Prius, you're dead. Everything else, dead. And it is so funny, I, I really think that she did herself a disservice here. I mean, you see her body shaking as she shoots the gun. That's just kind of funny. To me that tells me you don't actually have full control over this weapon, which you know what, that's actually a really good metaphor for what's happened with the Republican party today. Right? They created this high powered weapon with their delusional base, capable of extreme destruction and we've seen it, and they wanna control it.

But they can't. So they get bucked by the weapon itself. They can't handle that recoil off of this weapon, again, that they created. But at the same time, let's just talk about the imagery, right? The metaphor itself for the Republican party I think is a very apt one. But the imagery, right? She's blowing up. She's going no holds barred, everything and a big gun and explosions and Donald Trump pushing his way through a crowd and all this craziness. It means nothing. That's what gets me about this. Like the whole ad means nothing. The whole ad says nothing. It adds nothing to any conversation. It does nothing to further any actual ideas or agendas. But that is what politics has become today. It, it, it's a giant show. We are living in Idiocracy. You don't have to come up with any ideas. You don't have to actually have legislation. Hell, you don't even have to have reasons why you do things. All you have to do is show people, big guns, explosions, people looking tough and these idiot voters fall for it every time. That's the worst part of all of this, that those voters in Georgia are gonna send her back to office for another term.
