Democratic senator Kyrsten Sinema has reportedly been even worse than we had previously thought, and a new book reveals that she isn't just mocking President Biden, she's actively praising Republicans who are obstructing his entire agenda. This has allegedly happened at fundraisers with many heavy hitting lobbyists, where Sinema has also reportedly called herself "anti-tax" and "anti-government." Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

According to a new book by two New York Times reporters, books actually not even gonna be coming out till May 3rd, but we're already getting as we often do with these big name books, we're, we're getting some excerpts, we're getting some things revealed to the public, you know, to gin up hype about this new book. And this of course will be the very first book out about the inner workings of the Biden administration, the trials and tribulations of that first year. And one of the biggest tribulations they've had is Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema, and according to the two authors of this new book, Kyrsten Sinema last year at some point, attended a fundraiser in Washington, DC filled with Republican lobbyists where she not only mocked president Biden, but openly praised some of the worst Republicans out there. Let me read this. This is from LGBTQ nation.

No, I'm sorry. This is from Axios, sorry. At a private fundraiser in DC with a Republican heavy group of lobbyists, which hasn't been reported before, she portrayed herself as anti-tax and anti-government. Now, before I even go on, let's stop right there for a moment, anti-tax and anti-government. Is there anything in Democratic platform that suggests that that party or its members are anti-tax and anti-government? No, there is not. Meanwhile, on the Republican side, those are pretty much the only two things the party stands for in addition to, you know, overt racism and voter suppression and culture wars. But no tax, no government, those are the top two tenets of the Republican party. So I think it's safe to say at this point, Sinema's definitely not on the left, not even a little bit, but Axios continues.

She mocked Biden while speaking warmly about House GOP leader, Kevin McCarthy, and even defending far right representative Andy Biggs of Arizona who denied the election results and claimed Antifa had infiltrated the Capitol riot. I love Andy Biggs, she said, I know some people think he's crazy, but that's just because they don't know him. Separately, Sinema told colleagues, five or six other Senate Dem moderates, were hiding behind my skirt as she pushed back on the left. You know, reading that last sentence there reminds me a lot of those idiot, cowardly Republicans, right? Oh, behind the scenes, they're all with us. They all hate Trump, but you know, they're not gonna come out and say it. It's bull crap. It is total 100% bull crap. It's bull crap when it happens on the right and it's bull crap when it happens to members of the right who claim to be on the left, like Kyrsten Sinema. Maybe there are five or six people hiding behind her. Maybe there's not.

But that is the exact same thing we see coming from these Republicans who say that, oh yeah, there's a whole, whole gaggle of us back here who don't like Trump, you know, they don't wanna come out publicly. Oh, but super trust me, right? Behind the scenes they all can't stand the guy. That's what Sinema is doing. She's using the same tactic as those on the right, because she's on the right. If you're gonna defend Kevin McCarthy, if you're gonna say he's a good person, you're gonna do the same thing with Andy Biggs, then you're a Republican, plain and simple. So just admit it, Kyrsten. Hell, if you admit it right now, if you switch parties, suddenly you're still in the majority, right? You really have nothing to lose.
