Biden Says He'd Be 'Fortunate' To Run Against Trump Again In 2024

President Biden said this week that he would be "fortunate" if he got to run against Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. During a press conference in Brussels this week, president Biden got on the topic of course, of Donald Trump. And apparently not having learned any lessons from Hillary Clinton in 2016, Biden said quote, in the next election, I'd be very fortunate if I had that same man running against me. Now there's two possibilities here. The first one is that Biden, obviously speaking on an international stage, kind of wanted to embarrass our former president. Right. Kind of wanted to stick it to Donald Trump, everybody over there in Europe doesn't like him anyway. So why not take a couple shots at him? Everybody kinda laughs and chuckles like, hell yeah, that guy's gone. We all hated him. Right. Okay. I get that. Totally get it. So if that's what he was doing. Cool. I got no problem with it. If he's being sincere, if he is honestly saying that he does want to run against Donald Trump again, then that's stupid. The polls right now show that Biden would not beat Trump. Two months ago that was different.

Two months ago, actually not even two months, I think it was about a month ago, Biden had a five to six to seven point lead depending on the poll over Donald Trump in a generic 2024 matchup, not generic, a head to head matchup in 2024, excuse me. So a month ago he'd have beaten him. No problem. Today they're statistically tied. So when I say he wouldn't beat him, that's not to say that Donald Trump would definitely win. It just means that this would not be a cake walk for Joe Biden. And let's be very honest with ourselves and with each other here, the only reason Biden won in 2020 was because of COVID. Biden ran at a time when you had this perfect storm, really that allowed enough people to see what a fraud Donald Trump was. He still had huge support, right? He got 74 million votes. Okay. It's not like Biden came out there and won in an absolute landslide. He beat him thoroughly. Sure. But it's because of Donald Trump's mishandling of COVID. It was because of Donald Trump's trade war. It was because of bad economic policies here at. All of that played a major role and all of that, unfortunately, trust me, because I've been doing this so long, I know this, all of that will have been forgotten by 2024.

Now some people may disagree with me on that. Some people think, oh God, no, there's no way. There is a way, folks. God bless it. Like I've said, I've been doing this for near 20 years. I can tell you the public is not gonna remember what happened four years ago. If they did, George W. Bush, wouldn't be praised by liberals when he hands Michelle Obama a piece of candy. They forget, they gloss over. We look back on it with rose colored glasses. Hell, we can't even remember right now, all the horrible things that happened during the Trump administration. Biden won't win if he runs against Trump again. Biden's presidency has not gotten off to a good start and it doesn't appear to be getting any better. If he runs against Donald Trump, again, he will lose. So hopefully he's not being sincere when he says he'd love to run against him again. Hopefully he was just saying that to mock him on the international stage. Again, I wholeheartedly support that. But if he's being serious, then he may have some of the worst political advisors that I've ever seen in my life.
