YouTube Description
as posted by the channelDonald Trump is known to be a liar, but his latest claims - which he made on a Christian Broadcast - are even beyond his normal outrageousness. Trump claimed in the interview that NO ONE has done more for Christianity than he has, and he is actively taking credit for the spread of religious-based legislation sweeping through Red States. Trump is the antithesis of religion as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

I bet you probably didn't know this, but apparently nobody has done more for religion here in the United States, the spread of Christianity, than Donald J. Trump himself. The former twice impeached president claimed recently on an interview with the evangelical network, CBN, well, let me just read his exact quote. I don't even need to paraphrase. You know, nobody has done more for Christianity, nobody has done more for religion of all types, than me, and they're really doing things now to, and I've always said it, they're, they're against organized religion. They're against Christianity. Who's they? You didn't, you didn't specify a they when you randomly switched tracks in the middle of your sentence there. The weird thing is that this is not the first time that Donald Trump has claimed that he has done more for Christianity than anybody else ever. Back in 2018 on that same network, he had this to say.
Nobody's done more for Christians or evangelicals or frankly religion than I have. He also at one point said, nobody, nobody has done more for the black community than he has too. But, you know, that's a conversation for a different day. Nobody's done more for religion than Donald J. Trump. Um, I'm gonna argue that this guy, actually this whole book about his life, I don't know if you've heard it, his name's Jesus. And I'm willing to bet that, yeah, he probably did a little bit more for Christianity, uh, than you did. So, you know, there's that. Donald Trump doesn't go to church. Donald Trump doesn't actually pray. And yet he has managed to convince millions of evangelicals in this country that he is somehow this religious holy roller that truly is the antithesis of religion itself. Like everything Trump does and Trump stands for is anti-religion.
His love and nonstop quest for money, right? That greed, the lust, the adulterous affairs. I mean, hell most of the things that Donald Trump has done in his life are directly violations of the 10 commandments themselves. The only thing we don't know that he's done, I think out of all the 10 commandments, we don't know if he's killed somebody or not. Thou shalt not bear false witness. The man lied 25,000 times just in the four years he was serving as president. Like he is a serial commandment breaker out there saying, I've, I've done more for religion than anybody else ever. And these idiots eat it up. I mean, honestly, if you go back and you kinda look at the anti-Christ type thing and, and what it's supposed to be, I'm just saying he really does fit that bill.
If you're a follower of that religion, you would have to believe that this guy is in fact that guy. But it is what it is. He's gonna continue to pander to these people. They're gonna go and they're gonna do their worship every Sunday, every Wednesday evening, they're gonna give their money to the churches and they're gonna sit there with the Trump flags in their cars and on their lawns, thinking that this man again, who has broken pretty much all of the 10 commandments, we know maybe one that he didn't, they're gonna think that he is the holy roller that is going to lead them to salvation. Oh, he'll lead you somewhere all right. But it ain't gonna be to salvation. And I would advise you all to dress for exceptionally warm weather if he continues to lead you down that path.
