According to a new report from Rolling Stone, Donald Trump is reportedly "disgusted" with Madison Cawthorn's antics - including a recent video that showed him in a very compromising situation - and could end up pulling his endorsement. While the report states that Trump is not yet willing to un-endorse the Congressman, the former President is waiting to see how things play out, which could easily go south for the young Republican. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

According to a new report from Rolling Stone, Donald Trump is growing increasingly disgusted by Madison Cawthorn's antics. Of course, one of the things that has really set him off recently are the pictures and videos that have emerged of Madison Cawthorn including obviously the, the naked video that we discussed last week. So, um, I can understand, I guess, where Donald Trump is coming from. Yes, this is a little bit disturbing. Madison Cawthorn has tried to play off all of these leaks as, hey, I was young. We were just a bunch of dudes goofing around which sure. I understand that as well. My friends and I goofed around, we never did anything like that, but it's a thing that happens and of course, you know, there's, there's no real issue with it in terms of politics. But Donald Trump, according to his allies who spoke to Rolling Stone, isn't happy with all of this.

And even though he says he's not ready to pull his endorsement of Cawthorn just yet, he does, according to these aids, want to sit back and just see how things play out, which of course means that if more damning information or disturbing videos emerge of Madison Cawthorn between now and the May 17th primary, Donald Trump absolutely could end up rescinding that endorsement. Similar to what he did, obviously for Mo Brooks in the state of Alabama. But here's the thing. That's a week away. Okay. That, that primary is only a week away. Next Tuesday is Madison Cawthorn's primary. So Trump only has like seven days to sit back and, you know, wait and see how this plays out as his aids say. So I don't think at this point that Trump is actually going to rescind that endorsement. But then again, with the way things have been coming out about Madison Cawthorn and to me, honestly, the videos, the pictures, all of that, I don't care. Like that doesn't change my opinion of the guy whatsoever.

What does bother me of course, are the actual real scandals that have emerged. The potential insider trading scandal that Madison Cawthorn is, you know, well basically Republicans, Thom Tillis leading the charge, calling for an investigation into that. You have other allegations that he may have violated campaign finance laws and health, House ethics rules, excuse me. So, yeah, he's got some very real scandals that actually should be paid attention to, but of course, all of that gets overlooked because, hey, there's a video of him naked on top of his friend and that's very weird. But we need to be paying attention to the real scandals because those are the ones that obviously show us the true character of Madison Cawthorn. Ignore the creepy videos, ignore the stupid videos of him punching a tree and focus on the real scandals that may implicate him in serious criminal activity. Seven days to go. Again, more stuff could come out. I imagine since there is only a week left, if, if there is a drip campaign actually taking place, they're probably saving the juiciest tidbits for last.

So I imagine we're gonna see something else come out about Madison Cawthorn within the next couple of days to see if that can take him down. And of course, if he loses his primary next week, that's the end of Madison Cawthorn. He gets to serve out the remainder.
