According to testimony from Michael Cohen, Donald Trump lived in constant fear that someone would throw a pie in his face, and, as Cohen testified, he instructed his security guards to "savagely beat" anyone who tried. While no one is eager to get a pie in the face, the odds of such an act causing any real damage are minuscule, but that's apparently a risk Trump wasn't willing to take. According to testimony from Michael Cohen, Donald Trump's former lawyer slash fixer Donald Trump lived in a constant state of fear that somebody was going to throw a pie in his face. Apparently many years ago, bill gates had someone throw a pie in his face. And Michael Cohen said that that incident did something to Donald Trump that made the, uh, alleged billionaire live in fear that somebody was gonna throw a pie in his face. And the reason this is even relevant is because of course there is that, uh, ongoing investigation into whether or not Donald Trump's goon squad did. In fact, rough up protestors outside of Trump tower in 2015. That is what this testimony was a part of. And the story is a lot weirder by the way than just Trump being afraid of pies. This is of course the same story where Trump was afraid of fruit, but it was the pie thing that Cohen says really got him.

And he would tell people, and of course this is relevant to the lawsuit. He would tell us security guards. If anybody comes to throw a pie at me, I want you to savagely beat them. In fact, uh, directly from Cohen, this is what Cohen testified in court. For some reason that upset Mr. Trump terribly the bill gates incident. We were all instructed that if somebody was to ever throw anything at him, that if that person didn't up end up in the hospital, we'd all be fired. So Cohen of course is testifying that yes, it is likely Trump instructed his security guards to go out there and beat the hell out of those people in 2015, because he had always told us if we didn't send someone to the hospital, we'd all be fired. Now it's unlikely that a pie in the face is gonna do any kind of real damage.

Unless of course it's a freshly baked pie right out of the oven. Yeah. That could cause some serious problems. But if we're just talking about one of those slapstick like whipped cream pies, all it's gonna do is embarrass him and make him look kind of foolish for a few minutes. Maybe somebody in the audience also has a trombone and they can make the sad little trombone sound when he gets tied in the face. But that's what Trump was worried about. He was worried about being embarrassed, you know, looking silly. That's why he was so afraid of these pies. I don't think he actually thought they would do real damage. I think he was just worried that he might look a fool, but again, there's actually a real story here. And the story is in fact that Michael Cohen says he was in the room when Donald Trump instructed the guards to go down there and rough. These people up in 2015, Trump had testified in front of this same court, by the way that Michael Cohen was not in the room. So right now we have a, he said, he said situation, but if Cohen can prove he was in fact in the room and Donald Trump already

Swore oath, that Cohen was not boom, you got him on perjury. Probably not gonna land him in jail, but Hey, it's still a criminal charge. And at this point we gotta take whatever we can get seeing is how the man seems to get away with everything that is the big underlying story here. That Cohen is alleging that Donald Trump committed perjury.
