In a truly bizarre defense of claims that Rudy Giuliani was drunk on election night, Steve Bannon said that he'd "take Rudy drunk" over the words of the people in the White House who were telling Trump to admit he lost the election. On Monday. We got word that Rudy Giuliani may have been entirely intoxicated when he went into the white house, the night of the election and encouraged Trump to say the whole thing was stolen. And so on Tuesday, Rudy Giuliani, of course, uh, which actually happened on Monday, came out and said, no, this is preposterous. None of this happened. And on Tuesday, Steve Bannon on his podcast talking to Bernie Carrick, who of course received a pardon from Donald Trump actually defended Rudy Giuliani saying, first of all, no, he definitely wasn't drunk because he just doesn't do that in the white house. In second, saying even if he was drunk, he's still more reliable than the other people in the white house here is what Bannon had to say at 10 o'clock before the 11 o'clock news, Trump should have walked up to the podium and declared victory, declared victory right there.

So don't give me the Rudy drinking. And by the way, I'll take Rudy drunk and he has too much respect for the white house and the office of the presidency ever to do that. Ever. And think that, yes, this is good. This is I'm I'm kicking here. I'm really making the case that the 2020 election was stolen. And this is the man that Donald Trump was was, was relying on. And Steve Bannon's like, I'll take that all day. Of course you will, because you're a giant grifter and you after, and your show is being propelled by the fact that you continuously go out there every single day, talking about how the election was stolen. You've never been able to offer any proof though, but luckily for you, your audience is very dumb and they don't require proof. All you have to do is say it and they're gonna believe it. That's Steve Bannon's whole thing. It's always been Steve Bannon's whole thing. You just make up and then, Hey, everybody's gonna believe it. So why not just keep going with it? It's gonna make me a lot of money. So that's what he does. But Rudy Giuliani drunk, sober doesn't matter should not be trusted.
