The police in Uvalde, Texas are trying to prevent the release of the body cam footage from the day of the deadly school shooting, claiming that releasing it would reveal "weaknesses" within the department. It is fairly safe to say that we ALL know the weaknesses of the department at this point, and the cowardly officers need to be held accountable for their lack of action that day. The Texas department of public safety is fighting harder than ever to make sure that the body cam footage from the Uvalde police officers who responded to the recent school shooting in the state, that we don't get to see what they were doing. We don't get to hear it. We don't get to know anything from the body cam footage, because as the, you know, de department of public safety says, if, if you were to see this stuff, you know, it could expose our weaknesses and therefore anybody who wants to come and do a shooting later would know how to do it. Cuz they would see our planning. And let me read it here. Revealing the marked records would provide criminals with invaluable information. Concerning department techniques used to investigate and detect activities of suspected criminal elements. How information is assessed and analyzed how information is shared among partner law enforcement agencies and the lessons learned from the analysis of prior criminal activities.

So that's all it is folks. It's not because those officers were complete and total cowards it's because we don't wanna give away the secrets. We don't wanna reveal our weaknesses, but you already have. See it turns out your weakness is people with high capacity firearms. You're scared of being shot. We know that you you've already come out and publicly admitted that your people were scared of being shot. Now look, I don't blame you. I'm scared of getting shot too, but that's why I chose a job where there is very little risk of me walking into work every day and getting shot. You chose that job. If you can't do it, if you don't wanna do it, you can leave. That is 100% an option, but you sat out there in front of that school while kids were bleeding out inside, you couldn't make up your minds. You couldn't make a decision. Everybody in the, in the, in, on the, on the planet, everybody on the planet saw your weakness. This isn't just about, oh, we don't want criminals to see our weaknesses. It's about you not wanting to be exposed for the cowards that you are. You signed up for this.

I hope that's a lesson by the way, to anyone. Who's not up for it. I don't imagine that it's an easy job. I don't imagine that that's an easy decision to make, to walk into a hail of gunfire. I wouldn't do it, but that's why I didn't sign up to do it. But you did also have parents who were willing to do it to go save kids. Those are the ones that you treated so harshly that you handcuffed because they were willing to do the job that you weren't. And I'm sure that that's just one of many things on that body cam footage that you don't want the public to see.
