YouTube Description
as posted by the channelFlorida Governor Ron DeSantis is sitting on a mountain of cash right now - almost more than any other candidate running for any office this year. His fundraising haul dwarfs anything that Florida has ever seen, and it is way more than he would need to run for governor. So why are big donors still flooding him with cash? The answer, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins points out, is incredibly obvious.

Florida's Republican governor. Ron DeSantis might actually be the richest person in American politics today. And I'm not talking about his net worth. I'm talking about how much money that that goofball has on hand here in the state of Florida, as of the end of may, the last month for which we have full accounting for Ron DeSantis had more money than any member of the Senate running for reelection than any member of the house running for reelection and more money on hand than Donald Trump's save America political action committee. Now I'm sure, you know, I've talked about it plenty of times, Donald Trump's political action committee at one point a couple months ago, had more cash on hand than either the democratic or Republican party. In fact, he had so much cash on hand that he had more money than the democratic and Republican parties combined.
Now we find out that Ron DeSantis actually has more cash on hand than Donald Trump's political action committee. So again, he's pretty much the richest man in American politics in terms of how much money he has for his reelection campaign. This is an unprecedented amount of money here in the state of Florida. Uh, he doesn't even need to spend a fraction of that on his election. And right now he's not spending any of it. He's ahead in the polls. It's not super duper strong leads, but it's strong enough to where he doesn't have to do anything. That's how powerful this man has become. And a lot of it of course, has to do with the culture war BS that he has been pushing on the state. And the fact that more and more Republican donors are abandoning Donald Trump, right? This new report says that DeSantis is pulling in more money every single day. So the big question is how does this money help him? Well, like I said, he doesn't need it for his gubernatorial run and he's term limited if he wins.
So where's it go after that? Gee, what could Ron DeSantis spend a hundred million on after he wins reelection? Cuz he can't run for governor again? Huh? If only there was some kind of higher office like, like the highest office in the land where he could have a hundred million dollar head start against anybody else running against him. This money that Ron DeSantis has been given is not for his gubernatorial bid it's for his presidential run. Now I know what you're saying, but Faron, we have laws in the country that say a state lawmaker. If you've raised the money for this race, you can't flip it over into the presidential run. Oh yeah, we sure we sure do have laws. You know what? Those laws all come with loopholes
Very easy to get around loopholes. Pretty much all DeSantis has to do is start a national political action committee, much like Trump did put the money in there and then he's fine. Then he can use it for whatever the hell he wants to use it for. That's it like literally that's the loophole. That's how easy it is. I know there's a lot of paperwork involved. Sure. But that's all he has to do. And again, the man would have at least a hundred million head start above any other person running for president in 2024 on the Republican side, he is the front runner. I know the polls don't show that, but the money do, does the money talks more than that poll Ron DeSantis? In my opinion, based on these financial numbers is officially the Republican front runner for 2024.
