as posted by the channel

The secret service agents who reportedly said that they would be more than willing to testify in front of the January 6th Committee to refute the testimony of Cassidy Hutchinson have suddenly gotten very quiet, and new reports say that they are hiring lawyers and refusing to talk to the Committee. This is a sharp turn of events given how adamant these agents were that the story wasn't true, and it only creates even more headaches for the embattled agency. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

So several weeks ago, after Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony, where she talked about the fact that she had heard from Tony or NATO, who was a former secret service agent turned one of the chiefs of staff for Donald Trump, chief of staff of operations in the Trump white house said that he told her that Donald Trump lunged for the steering wheel in the beast, the presidential SUV limo. He put his hands around the clavicle of another secret service agent in there angle. And she told the world that during her televised testimony. And then of course, as we all know, the secret service came out through various different reports and said, yo, we're willing to testify. We're gonna come. We're gonna talk to this committee. We're gonna set the record straight and we're gonna tell them none of this stuff ever happened.

Well, been a couple of weeks now, where are you guys? And that question by the way is not actually coming from me. That question is coming from the members of the January 6th committee who were openly talking to the press saying, Hey, secret service, where are you? You're more than welcome to come knock on our door. We'll hold a hearing right then and there. And you can tell us your side of the story, but none of them have shown up. And in fact, all of them have seemingly gone completely silent, but they all do have one thing in common right now, or NATO Engle the driver of that beast limo, according to democratic representative, Zoe L grant, it turns out all of these people have been hiring lawyers.

So they went from, oh, hell yeah, we're gonna come and talk to this committee and set the record straight and show that Cassidy Hutchinson was lying about this event because he never lunged. They always made sure to include that word. He didn't lunge. He didn't lunge at the driver and then it all disappeared. I mean, granted, the secret service was involved in a very large scandal probably immediately after that, with the missing text messages that, oh, we're gonna find him. Oh no, we can't find him. Okay. We're gonna launch a criminal investigation. Oh wait, no, we did find him. So yeah. Little bit of problem there with the secret service. So it's actually unclear, I guess, as to why these agents, the ones involved in this specific incident that Cassidy Hutchinson was telling us about are now not only completely silent, but also hiring lawyers.

Are they hiring lawyers because they're preparing to go testify in front of the committee. If so you have every right to do it. You should do that. Probably that's the smart thing to do. Or are you hiring lawyers because of the criminal investigation into the missing text messages?
