It is official: There is absolutely nothing that Donald Trump could do that would make Republicans stop defending him. Even as a few members of the Republican Party appear to have woken up from the trance he had the Party under, most still defend everything he does, no matter how illegal it may be. Marco Rubio is the latest to rush to Trump's defense, claiming that the entire document scandal is really nothing more than just a "storage argument." Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

I guess we can put our minds at ease folks because the dumbest man in the United States Senate has come out this past weekend and assured us that this whole scandal involving the documents down at Mar Lago, it's not about espionage or violations of the presidential records act really at the heart of it. He tells us it's just a storage issue. That man of course is Republican Senator Marco Rubio. Again, who I firmly believe is the dumbest human being serving in that United States Senate right now. But here is what Rubio had to say over the weekend at a local news outlet. This is really at its core, a storage argument that they're making. They're arguing. There are documents there. They don't deny that he should have that he should have access to those documents, but they deny they were properly stored. I don't think a fight over storage of documents as worry worthy of what they've done, which is a full scale raid.

And then these constant leaks. That's the second problem. It's the PR behind all this? Yes. See, I was thinking the same thing too. I, I would totally forgive Donald Trump had, he just made a simple visit to what the container store maybe got some of those under the bed boxes. Just put his classified documents there, rolled them back under the bed. Maybe put 'em up in the attic next to the Christmas tree. No, this, this is why you're the dumbest man in the United States, Senate Marco Rubio. Because unlike other Republicans who say stupid stuff like this, to try to deflect because they know how bad it is. Rubio is saying this because I genuinely believe that he genuinely believes it. Like, I don't think Marco Rubio has the mental capacity to fully process. What happened down there at Mar Lago. This dude actually does think this well, it's just about storage, right? I don't know. Here's the thing. Even in your, oh, it's just the storage issue. You're already lying to people. Maybe you don't even know you're lying. Cuz again, you're, you're an idiot. But what he says, like they don't deny that he should have access to those documents. They don't deny it. Why do you think they took him? You idiot because he is not allowed to have access to him.

You know, it's one thing when you have to argue and debunk these talking points from people who know better, they know they're lying to you. You know, you look at Ben Shapiro, Charlie Kirk, Matt Walsh, hell, even Matt gates. Those people know that they're lying to you. Those people it's easy to argue with. But when you're dealing with a level of stupidity, like what we see with, with Marco Rubio, it's almost impossible. It's almost impossible to get through to this man how wrong he is because

He simply can't understand it. And that's what makes this so difficult. That's what drives me up the wall wall. Everything Rubo said here is false, right? Oh, well they didn't say he couldn't have them. Yeah. They did. The simple fact that they went down there to take them away from him shows. They're saying you can't have these, but don't tell that to rub. I don't think his brain can handle that kind of truth. And no, this is not a storage issue. We have very clear laws here in the United States that say that you can't have these. They have a special place. There is a special building. There is a whole government agency whose job it is to make sure that these documents end up in their hands so they can put them where they belong and keep them out of the reach of other people.
