A federal grand jury that was already investigating Donald Trump and all of his little activities before, during, and after the capital riot specifically, of course, the fake elector scheme, uh, they've taken a turn in their investigation and they've decided now that they need to look into the formation and the funding of Donald Trump's save America political action committee, which of course was formed not long after the, uh, November 20, 20 election. And it's raised well over a hundred million since its inception. So why, why is this grand jury that's investigating Trump's attempts to overturn the election now looking at his political action committee? Well, I think there's a couple obvious reasons. Oh. And before I get into that, it's important to know they've actually already sent out subpoenas to individuals associated with the political action committee. They're going hardcore against that Trump pack. So this isn't like, oh, let's look into this.

No, no, no. They've got lots of subpoenas out there. They're going full force against it. So again, the question is why, right? What relevance does that political action committee have to Donald Trump's attempts to overturn the election? Well, honestly, it's fairly obvious, isn't it. If you've seen any of the emails or text messages that Donald Trump and his, uh, save America pack have put out there, they have raised tons of money. I mean, tens of million, if not over a hundred million based solely on those election lies, right? Solely based on his attempts to overturn the results of the 2020 election, he has gotten millions of people to open up their wallets to him and give them their hard earned cash. Now, maybe they're looking at whether or not that constitutes fraud because not only has Donald Trump told these people give me money to fight the election results and then proceeded to spend $0 on it.

But he basically has used it as his own personal piggy bank to pay his businesses, to, you know, pay for his trips, do all kinds of things. I'm sure they write them off his political expenses. He's used the money, a couple million of it to pay his legal fees. It's his little piggy bank. And he's out there, ding, mom and pop Republican donors to give him $5 here or $20 there and not a dime of it has been used for what he actually said it was gonna be used for. So to me, that seems like the most likely avenue that this, uh, grand jury is going after. It's still a little confusing, cuz even though it is tied into spreading the election lies, that's why he raised so much money. I still don't know if it rises to the level of criminal activity. So I'm betting, I'm betting. They

Have information that obviously we don't. So that's gonna be fun when that comes out because on its surface. Yeah. Trump duping his donors unethical, but because of our very lax campaign finance laws here in the United States, uh, it's a pretty big stretch to say that that's illegal. But another interesting development by the way is the fact that it was revealed last week that the January 6th committee dropped subpoenas against the Republican national committee and their fundraising group. Um, I forget the name of it. It escapes me at the moment, but either way they said, okay, you know what? We don't need to know about your fundraising stuff. The emails you sent out about election fraud and the money you raised on that. No, no, no. We're gonna drop that. And I thought at the time it was because clearly the committee has a very limited amount of time left.
