McConnell Lavishes Praise On Kyrsten Sinema For Obstructing Biden's Agenda

After praising Mitch McConnell during a speech about "bipartisanship" at the McConnell Center at the University of Louisville, Senator Kyrsten Sinema was then praised by McConnell as "one of the most effective first term senators" that he's ever seen. The duo of McConnell and Sinema have been obstructionists at every turn, so it is no surprise that they would get along so well. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

So yesterday, Democratic Senator Kirsten Cinema appeared with Republican senator and Republican Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell at the University of Louisville's McConnell Center, and Mitch McConnell, lavished praise upon Kirsten Cinema for being an obstructionist piece of crap in the United States Senate. Here is what he had to say. I've only known Kirsten for four years, but she is in my view, and I've told her this, the most effective first term senator I've seen in my time in the Senate. And let's not forget folks, that's 37 years Mitch McConnell's been up there. She is today. What we have too few of in the Democratic Party, a genuine, moderate, and a deal maker. Now, you'll notice that McConnell did not go on to say what kind of deals it is that Kirsten Cinema has made because she has made exactly zero deals. What she's done is obstructed President Biden and the Democratic Party's agenda since Biden was sworn into office, I'm sure we all remember her little cutesy thumbs down on, you know, increasing the minimum wage because screw workers, right?

Those people suck anyway. And then she immediately went over and laughed it up with Republicans after her thumbs down vote. This isn't a deal maker. This isn't even a serious person. This is an individual who has no real political ideology other than I like being a contrarian. That is what, uh, uh, uh, Kirsten Cinema has always been. And that's a personality trait. It, it's not a political trait. That's who she is as a person. And we've all seen those people, right? We know who the contrarians are. They're the people who that, when a Republican is office, Oh, the Republican is terrible. They're doing all these bad things. When a Democrat gets in office, oh, everything is worse than it was before. Democrats are terrible. They have to go against what's popular. And of course, they always have to be right. I'm sure some of you, if you spend time on Twitter, are immediately having light bulbs go off in your head because you know exactly who I'm talking about.

There's actually lots of them out there like that. They're just contrarians. They don't stand for anything other than we don't like what you like because you like it. So now we can't. That's their entire political philosophy. And I think that is the best way to describe Kirsten Cinema. I don't think she's evil. I don't think she's just beyond corrupted. I don't think she's thinking, Oh, I'm gonna get millions of dollars when I finally leave office. I think she does it because that's who she is as a person. All of those other things, right? Getting the cushy job, all of that will happen. But that's not what's driving this.

Go back to cinema's earlier career when it wasn't popular for her to be a progressive. And that's when she was a staunch progressive. She's always been a contrarian, always been the kind of person to go against the grain, even if that grain is the uh, party that she is a member of, this is who she is. And it's also worth noting that it hasn't gained her any support in the state of Arizona as she is officially one of the least popular senators in their state in the United States. Mitch McConnell, very popular in Kentucky. Hell even Joe Mansion is super popular in West Virginia. He is the obstructionist as well, right? He is the true, moderate read also cist. But his voters don't hate him for it.
