So late yesterday afternoon, Donald Trump announced that he had filed a lawsuit against CNN seeking 475 million because he claims that network is just a nonstop Donald Trump defamatory machine. Now, this specific lawsuit lists several instances of defamatory comments made by CNN against Donald Trump. Um, here's what it says in the complaint. Uh, with a series of evermore, scandalous false and defamatory labels of racist Russian lackey insurrectionist and ultimately Hitler, the former president's lawyer, said into the suit, filed Monday.

Okay? I mean, if those are things CNN said, which I'm sure they are, I don't watch cnn, so I'll take your word for it. Um, still technically not even defamatory. Those are absolutely opinion statements. So your lawsuit is pretty much dead on arrival 475 million. Have you actually suffered any financial losses due to any of the things that CNN has said on the air? Because I think the fact that your super PAC is pulling in money, hand over fist is gonna negate any of that. So let me read this beyond simply highlighting any negative information about the plaintiff and ignoring all positive information about him, that is another statement that'll absolutely get you thrown out. CNN has sought to use its massive influence, purportedly as a trusted news source to defame the plaintiff in the minds of its viewers and readers for the purpose of defeating him politically. So the damages that you're claiming may have happened have not actually happened yet. Therefore, you do not have a lawsuit. I mean, I didn't go to law school, but even I know that you can't file suit over something that hasn't happened unless

It's, you know, like a civil rights violation. Something that will violate your rights, something that will give you cancer. You are making an assumption based on things that have yet to even happen. That's, that, that's, that's not a lawsuit, that's not a legal claim. So what's gonna happen? Donald Trump filed this lawsuit in Florida, thank God, because Florida has some really good anti slap laws, which means CNN would be able to come back, file a countersuit, a slap suit against Donald Trump here in the state of Florida, which would then force Donald Trump to pay all of CNN's legal fees. And the case would be dismissed with prejudice, meaning it could not anywhere be refiled.
