A federal judge on Wednesday denied Donald Trump's request to prolong the appeals process over the special master, and instead granted the DOJ's request that the appeal be expedited. This is a major legal blow to Trump, who had asked earlier this week that the appeal be pushed back by at least three months. The resolution could end up coming before the midterms, which could lead to depositions and questioning in early January, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

So this week Donald Trump reached out to his super majority on the Supreme Court, actually specifically Clarence Thomas, to see if they could, you know, get rid of a lot of what's going on with the ongoing documents investigation. But it may not help him because the 11th Circuit Court of Appeal this week told Donald Trump that we are rejecting your request to slow roll the appeal of the appointment of the Special Master, and we're granting the DOJs request to expedite it. Therefore, both the DOJ and Donald Trump have until November 17th to put their briefs in. Trump and his legal team had tried to push this to January of 2023, right? They, they wanted months and months to go, but the 11th Circuit said no. Obviously this is fairly important. This is something that does need to be resolved with a little bit of quickness here, and let's get everybody's briefs in by the 17th of November. Let's determine whether or not the Special master even needs to be there and then we can all move on. The 11th Circuit, of course, is also the circuit that recently ruled that the DOJ can in fact continue reviewing 100 classified documents even as the Special Master does his job, even after the appeal is going on. Um, so yeah, Trump's not winning too much with these courts, right? When he's not put in front directly in front of a Trump appointed judge like Eileen Cannon or perhaps his bozos up on the Supreme Court, he doesn't win.

He has to rely on the people he put in power to save his. And even though he got a lot of judges out there, right? 25% of district judges, federal judges are Trump appointees. That's only a one in four chance. It's still a good chance, better than you or I would have, but it's not enough to continue to save him. Now, the DOJ has until Tuesday, right, to submit their filing with the US Supreme Court, and then they will determine whether or not they're gonna, you know, look at this and do whatever it is that Trump's asking them to do. There's a good chance they go along with Trump, and I want everybody to be prepared for that. Not because of any sound legal reasoning on his part, but because they're conservatives, he's conservative, they wanna protect him. So if the Supreme Court rules in Trump's favor, it's only because of hardcore political ideology, but if they go against him, he's screwed. And that's the, that's the thing we're all hoping for, right? If they go against him, he's gonna be out of options. November 17th is gonna go roll around. We're gonna hear the appeal about whether or not we can even have

A special master, which for the record, I think that's kind of stupid. Anyway, like I even said before, we knew who the special master would be, that I'm not too bothered by it. And now that we've seen what Special Master Judge Ray Dre has done, I'm actually happy with it. Like I like the guy. Now that may change. He may do some horrible stuff in the future, but as of right now, every move that De has made has shown that he is not willing to play Trump's game. So I say drop the appeal, let him do his job so we can finish this even sooner. I don't think DE's gonna screw anything up. I again, could be wrong, but based on what we've seen, based on the language he has used against Trump lawyers, the hard questions he's asked them,
