Trump's Advisors Think He'll Lie Under Oath If He Testifies To January 6th Committee

According to new reports, advisors to Donald Trump are terrified that he's going to lie under oath if he complies with a subpoena and testified before the January 6th Committee. Nearly all of Trump's legal team - and apparently all of the other people around him - do NOT want him to speak to the Committee, but Alina Habba is telling him that it might be a good idea. According to new reports, advisors, and nearly all, not all, but nearly all of Donald Trump's legal team does not under any circumstances want him to go and testify in front of the January 6th committee. And advisors, according to a report from Rolling Stone, are now telling Trump, if you do this, you will be under oath. And if you are under oath, you are going to commit perjury and then you're gonna be hit with criminal charges. So for the love of God, don't go and testify, let me read this one. Advisor told Rolling Stone quote, It is my hope that we talked him out of it. The former president seemed receptive to our arguments against it, But with Donald Trump, it can be hard to tell sometimes what has actually sunk in or stuck. And then of course, you had Donald Trump's former White House lawyer, Ty Cobb, who had this to say, And I think this is the most interesting because it ties into what I'm gonna tell you after this. So here it is. It is clear that testifying would be a bad idea as highlighted by the fact that his initial reaction to the subpoena included a multi page creed where he repeated the completely discredited theories of the big lie. I would like to believe his lawyers did not see that before it went out, or whether they did or didn't. Each scenario is scary. He added that no lawyer in their right mind would tell Donald Trump to go and testify. No lawyer in their right mind would tell Trump to testify.

Alina Haba, who is apparently Donald Trump's favorite lawyer at the moment, went on Newsmax, I believe it was this week, talking to Eric Bowling, saying, I think he should testify. He has nothing to hide. So I would tell him he should just go and do it. So here you have real lawyers saying, You must be an idiot if you want Trump to testify. And Alina Hobb is out there on TV saying, I want Trump to testify. His advisors are telling him, You're basically gonna be hit with criminal charges if you go and testify in front of that committee. And Alida Habas like, You got nothing to hide, buddy. Come on, let's go. He's gonna listen to Alina Haba, like he just made her an adv, put her on the advisory board of his new super pac. He didn't put any of these other lawyers on there. He didn't put any of those other advisors on there. He put Alina Haba on there because he trusts her and he likes her more than

Anything, more than anyone. And I actually made the comment yesterday that she needs to be careful, or she's gonna be his fourth wife. And honestly, I think that's something we need to pay attention to, but he's gonna listen to her. He's got everybody else over here saying, Don't do it. If you do it, you're an idiot. And the one person over here saying, Yeah, do it. You're great. I love you. He's already promoted her. He's already put all of his stock in her. Which one do you think he's gonna go with? He wants to testify. He thinks it'll be great for him. And if that one lawyer, the only lawyer that he trusts is telling him to do it, I promise you this idiot's gonna end up testifying and it's gonna end up exactly as his advisors are telling him it's going to end up.
