Elon Musk Shares A Nazi Meme Then Tells Twitter To Vote For Republicans

On Monday morning, Elon Musk shared an older meme featuring a Nazi soldier shortly before telling "independent-minded" people on Twitter that they needed to vote for Republicans in the midterms. While the two posts are not related, it does show us how the man really feels about the future of the country. Musk has no idea how politics works, and his behavior on Twitter is further proof that he might not know how business works, either. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

So yesterday, Monday day before the midterms, Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, tweeted out a meme of a Nazi soldier. And then a little while after that, tweeted out a message telling everybody in America to vote Republican. And I hope you understand, end just how bizarre this is. Like he tweets out a Nazi and then he gets back on Twitter and tweets out. Vote Republicans, like he went from Nazi to Republicans and, and I don't think that is that big of a leap anymore at this point. The meme that he tweeted out, uh, is actually a very old meme. It is a Nazi soldier with a pack on his back with some carrier pigeons in it, and it's got the little notification like, Haha, this was, you know, Twitter or before Twitter. Um, you can't tell, I mean, unless I think you really know your World War II history, you can't tell that this is in fact a Nazi soldier, right?

He's not wearing the arm band. So, you know what I'm going to say? Musk may not have known that I didn't know it, and I've seen that meme for years now. Didn't know it was a Nazi, but of course that doesn't make it any better. But I'll give Musk the benefit of the doubt and say that, okay, maybe he didn't know it was a Nazi. But what is inexcusable is that a man who just six months ago said that Twitter needed to be neutral and nonpartisan is out there telling people the day before the midterms that you have to go and vote for Republicans. Here's what he said. To independent minded voters, shared power curbs the worst excesses of both parties. Therefore, I recommend voting for a Republican Congress given that the presidency is democratic. Hardcore Democrats or Republicans never vote for the other side.

So independent voters are the ones who actually decide who is in charge. Curb the excesses of the extremes of both sides. Okay, well, let's look at the extremes of the Republican Party. They want women to not have control over their bodies. They want corporations to not pay any taxes. They wanna burn the planet down in our nonstop thirst for fossil fuels. They wanna overturn a democratic election. They want to further marginalize and victimize lgbtq t community. The extremes over here on the left, those bastards, you know what they want. They, they want everybody to be able to go to the doctor without having to pay for it. They, they wanna have a habitable planet. They, they want the wealthy to pay their fair share in taxes is they want us to help one another and look out for each other. Oh, no, two extremes, right there, there is no comparison and morons like Musk, because Elon Musk is very stupid. And

I, I don't think that anyone out there could successfully argue at this point that Elon Musk is brilliant. Like this man has repeatedly shown us in the last 11 days that he has owned Twitter, that he's not a smart person, he's not a good businessman. He got lucky because he took other people's work and other people's ideas and made successful companies that are basically dependent on government subsidies to stay alive.
