In an interview this week, Marjorie Taylor Greene told Ron DeSantis that he can NOT run for President in 2024 because, as she put it, "we need Trump back in the White House." She then said that the message was to ANYONE considering running for President in the next election, making it clear that she believes Trump is the anointed one and no one can challenge him. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

In an interview this week, Marjorie Taylor Green basically told Ron DeSantis, Stay in your lane and don't you dare go out there and run against Donald Trump for president in 2024. She says, We need Donald Trump in the White House. Here is what she had to say. This was on right side broadcasting network. What we need in this country is we need strong Republican governors like Ron DeSantis. We need strong governors to fight, stay in for eight years and save their states, not to abandon their states and try to run for president or any other big position. My message is for anyone, everyone that's considering running for president in 2024 against President Trump, please support President Trump because we need him back in the White House. All right, so here's the thing. She made these comments on Monday,

Okay? Today's Friday. I think, as we all know, a lot of things in this country, at least for the Republican party, have changed from Monday to Friday. So I'd be interested in hearing what Marjorie Taylor Green has to say today. Actually, I wouldn't whatsoever because she would say the exact same thing, right? Nothing would change with her statement. Even after seeing all of Donald Trump's handpicked, people pretty much go down in flames. She would still say, We need Trump in the White House. Here's the other problem with this. If you're a Republican, you want a Republican in the White House, you probably don't care too much if it's Ron DeSantis or Donald Trump, or even Greg Abbott or Brian Kemp or Christie. No, you just want it to be a Republican, right? That's all you care about,

Not Marjorie Taylor Green. I mean, if she were a true team player, she'd be out there saying, We need the strongest Republican. We got it. Doesn't matter who it is, doesn't matter what their name is, doesn't matter what the background is, as long as it's a Republican and we can put the breaks on these liberal policies in America. That's what a real politician or party supporter would be saying. But Marjorie Taylor Green is only a Republican because it's convenient for her. What she really is, is a cult member. She is a member of the cult of Donald Trump, so it's not just good enough to have a Republican on the ticket or in the White House, Excuse me. For her, it has to be Donald Trump. It's Trump or nothing in Marjorie Taylor Green's world.

But after Tuesday, I have to imagine, again, I don't think she would change her statement, but she has to know that things are different. Now. She has to see what the rest of the entire Republican party sees, and that is that Donald Trump is a drag on the ticket. You have had every Murdoch owned paper come out and attack Donald Trump as being weak and effectively dead in the Republican Party. You've, you have Paul Ryan out there taking shots at Trump for being a drag on the party. Other conservative hosts on Fox News, on conservative radio doing the same thing. Mike Pence has come out taking a couple shots at him. Everybody right now is going after Donald Trump, except people like Marjorie Taylor Green, he's still their guy. He is still their idol. They will ride with him all the way down to the gates of hell and beyond if they have to, and based on Trump standing in the party today, it might be exactly where they're headed.
