Maricopa County, Arizona held their election certification meeting on Monday, and things quickly went off the rails when the public comment portion of the day arrived. Conspiracy theorists and other nutcases showed up to voice their "concerns" about the state's elections, and they came across as the biggest group of whackos you've ever seen. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what happened.

So this past Monday in Maricopa County, they had their canvas or board meet to certify the results of the election in the county, sending in, of course, to the state. And that meeting quickly went off the rails. When they opened it up for public comment, a lot of folks had a lot of things to say and the majority of the things they had to say were just downright kooky. But the freaks and the weirdos took over the meeting. A lot of them, by the way, not even from Maricopa County, like they were shipped in from elsewhere to go and spout their ridiculous conspiracy theories. There's videos of all of them available in the link in the description of this video. But there is one I wanna show you. This is. Um, he's described by media matters as disgraced college profess professor and election fraud conspiracy theorist David Clements. So Mr. Clements gets up there at the microphone. He starts by saying, I'm a slave. Okay, that was weird, but then it just actually continues to get weirder. So here's another part of Mr. Clement's speech that I just want you to see, because this might be the nuttiest person who spoke that day. Take a

Look. There's nothing trustworthy about this. This is theater. It's optics. I was a longtime prosecutor. I went after drug traffickers. This is vote trafficking at its finest. I've seen the criminal element. You are vote traffickers, you are vote traffickers criminal. What are you gonna do about it? You've sold us out. You've sold us out. You've sold us out. Yeah. So we're not here to be civil. You're worried about language. We're worried about our voices being stolen and never getting a fair election again. That's what we're worried about. So a curse upon you, a curse upon all of you. You smug SMU people.

Well, great. Now all of these canvasser board members are cursed. Dang it. How do you get rid of a curse from a freak? Like, do do you have to go find a witch to remove it? Do you have to go find a priest or a holy man? I'm not exactly sure how his little curse upon them all, uh, works. Not even sure what the curse entails. He wasn't real specific on that. But these are the kind of wackos that took over this meeting. And he, I wanted to show that just because of the curse part. I found that hilarious. But you had other people that went up to that same microphone spouting these conspiracy theories saying the election was stolen, pushing all of these things that are completely untrue, because that's what these people do. This is who the Republican Party is now. And honestly at this point, those people, not just Clements, but the other ones, again, you can watch the rest of the videos that's in the link at the description of this, uh, video.

All of those should be put into ads by the Democratic party. They should be running them right now nationally. And it should be, this is the Republican party and show the weirdest, freakiest, nuttiest clips from these idiots that you possibly can. Republicans do the same thing. They do it all the time. They've been doing it for several years. They take, you know, uh, uh, footage of protests, somebody breaking a window. You know, one person does one thing. They put it on all their ads saying Democrats are good with crime. They love it when people break windows and break the law. Do the same thing to them. Put these freaks in national videos. Let the entire country see what you and I see every day because we are paying attention. Most of the country isn't paying attention.
