A group in Georgia called "Georgia Honor" has put out a scathing new ad attacking Herschel Walker by using nothing more than quotes from his own family members. The quotes are about the violence that the family faced from Walker - a man who says that he was healed by his "faith," not by actual medical professionals. But this ad says everything that Democrats have been too afraid to say, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

A group called Georgia Honor has put out what might be one of the most powerful and damaging political ads I think I've ever seen in all my years of doing this. It's an ad, of course, running in Georgia. It's an anti Herschel Walker ad. And in the ad, which I'm gonna show you in just a second, uh, they basically just take quotes from Walker's own family members about what a dangerous individual he is. So here is the ad again, the group to put this out is called Georgia Honor. It is running in Georgia right now, ahead of Tuesday's runoff. Here it is.

Herschel Walker's Violence has hurt so many people.

He held the gun to my temple and said he's gonna blow my brains

Out. His son says, Walker threatened to kill us and had us move six times in six months running from his violence. An ex-girlfriend says, Walker used threats of violence to force her to have an abortion.

He

Said, I would not be safe and that the child would not be safe.

Herschel Walker doesn't belong in the Senate. Georgia Honors responsible for the content of this ad.

Now, this ad ironically came out before we got that shocking Daily Beast report yesterday about a former ex-girlfriend talking about the time that Herschel Walker became violent with her, and of course, about how he uses his mental illness as a crutch to justify all of his bad behavior, something that we've already seen on the campaign trail. He's like, yeah, I do horrible things, but you know, I've, I've got, uh, uh, bipolar personality, so it's okay that I can do this. No, it's still not okay because you're not seeking help. And that's the thing that has always gotten me about all of Herschel Walker's story. The man hasn't gotten help, okay? These mental health problems that he admits he suffers from, that he has been diagnosed with, that are leading to the violence, he's not on medication, he's not in therapy. He is not working through these problems and learning how to control it.

Instead, he claims, oh, God saved me. I'm a super religious man. Yeah, sure you are. You're about as religious as I am. And that doesn't fix mental illness, by the way. Nevertheless, in spite of all of these stories of abuse, the stories about the abortions, you still have Republicans. Lindsay Graham, literally yesterday appeared on Fox News from a rally with Herschel Walker the day those new allegations came out about violence against the ex-girlfriend when she caught him cheating on her. And these Republicans are still lining up to go down there to Georgia saying, this is the man we need more than anything in the world. Lindsay Graham almost driven to tears over how much he loves Herschel Walker. This man is a disgusting, abort human being. And that is about the nicest way that I can say that he doesn't belong in the Senate. He belongs somewhere where he can get the help that he desperately needs, that his family has made clear through the statements you saw in that ad that he needs, and he is not doing it. But that ad that lays it all bare, that shows the people in Georgia who this man really is, and next week they've gotta make that choice. And let's pray that they make the right choice. I.
