Sad Elon Musk Responds To Getting Viciously Booed On Stage

For some reason Elon Musk appeared onstage with Dave Chappelle during a comedy show this past weekend, and Musk didn't receive the kind of welcome that either he or Chappelle was anticipating. The crowd erupted in "boos" for the richest man on earth, and Elon had to pretend that it didn't bother him tremendously. Apparently money can't buy friends or respect, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

Over the weekend. For some reason, Dave Chappelle was doing a show in San Francisco, and he decided to bring Elon Musk up on stage with him where Elon was promptly met with a chorus of booze from the crowd. So in case you haven't already seen it, here is the clip of Elon again, for some reason, getting invited up on stage with Dave Chappelle. And it didn't go the way either man thought it would. Here it is. So the funniest part is that Elon Musk didn't have to say anything about it, but of course his ego won't let him. He's a lot like Donald Trump in that way. So he gets on Twitter on Monday, trying to downplay what happened, and he, he says that, you know, it was, it was like 90% cheers and 10% booze, except during the quiet periods, but still, that's a lot of booze, which is a first for me in real life, frequent on Twitter, he says.

So he, he tried to make a joke of a, and he tried to say like, 90% of the people there totally loved me. It's only 10% that were booing. Um, I also, by the way, don't agree with all the headlines that he's booed off stage. I would say, based on the clips I have seen, we're probably talking about 50 50, right? Almost in even split in the crowd. I mean, you heard it in there. There were tons of people cheering for him. There were also tons of people booing him, and the more you watch it, it basically stays the same. So I would call it about a 50 50, but that's still a really, really terrible reception for Elon Musk. And I think it's pretty obvious why a lot of people don't like Elon Musk. Uh, it has nothing to do with politics, honest to God.

It has nothing to do with his politics. There's plenty of right wing conservatives out there who I don't hate, right? Like I, I've been watching the Santa Claus's series on Disney Plus. I don't mind watching Tim Allen. I find him funny. I, I don't support his politics at all, but I'm capable of enjoying a performance from a conservative actor. Elon Musk is a different story because it's not about politics with him. It's about power. It's about influence. It's about an, uh, egomaniac with more money than he knows what to do with, who wants to buy the love and devotion of people in this country. Again, he is exactly like Donald Trump. He is exactly like him. He wants to be loved, he wants to be admired, he wants to be respected, and he will spend however much money he has to spend to make it happen. Something Trump can't do, but it backfires because people view him as an immature man, baby. And it's very transparent what he's trying to do. Now,

The other other issue I have here is, what the hell was Dave Chappelle even trying to do? Was he just trying to court controversy? Was he trying to get some viral clips, you know, to help boost his, his publicity here? Because if so, brilliant, you did it. But other than that, I can't think of a worse thing for a comedian to have to stoop so low to basically trying to do PR for the world's second richest man. Because as of yesterday, Elon Musk is no longer the richest man on the planet. Tesla stock continues to tank, and that has tanked his net worth to the point where he's not the richest man and the world anymore, which is how Dave Chappelle had introduced him just the day before, how quickly things change, right?
