YouTube Description
as posted by the channelDonald Trump's third presidential campaign appears to be dead on arrival, as a new poll shows him getting absolutely CRUSHED by Ron DeSantis. DeSantis is now polling 23 points ahead of Trump, with 61% of Republicans saying that want someone else to be the nominee in 2024. Those numbers are going to be nearly impossible for Trump to overcome, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

A new poll came out this week from u s A today in Suffolk that shows that Donald Trump's campaign might already be dead. According to this new national poll, Ron DeSantis is not only beating Donald Trump among Republican voters, he is destroying Donald Trump among Republican voters. DeSantis has a 23 point lead over Donald Trump. 56% of Republicans say they want Rhonda DeSantis to be the nominee. Only 33% say they'll back Trump. Furthermore, 61% of Republican respondents in this national poll say they don't want Trump to run. A majority of Republicans say, we don't want Trump to run. Only 33% said, yeah, we're okay with him running Trump is toast. Now, I don't wanna go ahead and write the epitaph for his campaign gravestone just yet, so maybe I need to walk that back. You know, maybe he's not toast, but his buns are in the toaster right now, and pretty soon they're gonna be done. You don't recover from polls like this. Here's how we know, cuz it gets so much worse. The poll also found Trump's favorability rating among Republicans dropping from 75% in October to 64% in December. His unfavorable rating has also risen from 18% to 23% in that time.
Um, also in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup between President Biden and Donald Trump, Biden wins by seven points in the hypothetical matchup in this polling between DeSantis and Biden. Um, Johanes wins by four points.
I I, I think if I were a Republican, um, I'd be saying a lot more crazy things. But if I were a Republican, I would be looking at this and saying, okay, Trump's out. We clearly know who our guy needs to be. Now, as I've repeatedly said, and I still stand by, this, DeSantis isn't gonna win on a national stage. He's absolutely not gonna play to the public out there. And by the way, many Republican, uh, strategists, pollsters and people close to him have also admitted that same thing in recent weeks. They say he's too socially awkward, which is basically what I've been pointing out for two years to make any connection with the voters and they're not gonna like him and they're not gonna vote for him, but they're also not gonna vote for Donald Trump. So Republicans, y'all gonna come up with a third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh option.
At this point. I know you're expecting about 20 different people to throw their hats into the ring for the 2024 nomination, but you better hope that they start doing it soon because your two front runners, one of them is, is flailing wildly as he disappears from the public eye and faces possible criminal indictment. The other one is so weird and awkward and rude and stuck up that nobody's gonna like him when they finally get to know him. If that's the best you got, then Biden can basically take the next two years off, not worry about campaigning and still cruise to an easy victory.
