Trump Swears It Was HIS Idea For Ivanka To Dump Him

On Monday, Donald Trump hit back against reports from over a month ago that Ivanka and Jared Kushner wanted nothing to do with his new presidential campaign. Trump insisted that it was actually HIS idea for the couple to stay out of the new race, in spite of multiple reports to the contrary - again, from over a month ago. It isn't clear why Trump is suddenly mad about this, but anger is apparently all he knows these days. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

Recently Donald Trump gave an interview to New York Magazine, uh, reporter, Olivia Newsy, where he discussed several things. But one of the things that really seemed to get under his skin was when Nui asked him about Jared and Ivanka not being involved with his third presidential campaign. And then the piece came out and Donald Trump still angry about this story that really is over a month old, got on truth social and said this, contrary to fake news reporting, I never asked Jared or Ivanka to be part of the 2024 campaign for president, and in fact, specifically asked them not to do it too mean and nasty with the fake and corrupt news and having to deal with some absolutely horrendous SLS bags in the world of politics and beyond. There has never been anything like this ride before and they should not be further subjected to it. I ran twice getting millions more votes, uh, the second time rigged and am doing it again. Okay, see, it's like, no, no, no, no, no. They didn't dump me. What happened was I kind of like fired them myself. You know, I, they, they, they wanted to probably, but I said, Nope, nope. Now, Jared and Ivanka, I'm trying to protect you. I know you wanna be a part of this. I know you do, but I just can't let you do it cuz I'm such a good dad. I'm a good father-in-law. Y'all go live your lives. I just want you to be happy.

Does anybody honestly, truly believe that that is what happened? Do we truly believe that Donald Trump put the best interest of his favorite, favorite child ahead of his own selfish interest? Because I don't, not for a second. I think he's trying to save face and I also think that he's putting it back into people's heads, a story that's over a month old and nobody's thought about or cared about in over a month. That's what's so funny about this to me, is like, it doesn't matter. You are getting worked up and also again, reminding people that this even happened over a story that's a month and a half old that nobody even really cared about at the time. So why are you even bringing it up? Sometimes it's best to just let the sleeping dogs lie. No, nobody cares. We don't care if you told them not to do it. We don't care if they gave you the middle finger and said, we're not doing it. Nobody cares. Ivanka and Jared are, are literally the poster children for incompetence sense. It's probably best for your campaign that they're not working on it because they're so dumb. They are just genuinely stupid people.

But he won't let it go. Nope, nope, nope. He can't be seen as the guy that God dumped.

You're not breaking up with me because I'm breaking up with you, is essentially what he's telling us here. And much like last time, nobody, nobody in the world of politics actually gives a. But the fact that it bothers Donald Trump so much is the only fun part of this.
