George Santos Insults Reporter Then Runs Away Like A Coward

CNN reporter Manu Raju recently caught George Santos in the hallways in Congress, and asked him about several of the mounting scandals that threaten his career. Rather than answering any questions, including questions about the possible fraudulent signature on his campaign filings, Santos snapped at the reporter, accused him of lying, and then ran off as quickly as he could. The man is a coward, and reporters need to keep dogging him until he comes clean. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this.

Recently, CM Reporter, uh, Manu Raju, was able to catch up with Republican Congressman George Santos in the hallways of Congress, asking him, you know, tough questions about several of the scandals that he has embroiled in, including, of course, the recent revelation that last week he filed an amended f e c filing that appears to have forged the signature of a man who doesn't even work on the campaign. So Raju, of course, was able to ask him like, Hey, you put this man's name on your filing. He doesn't work for your campaign, and made it clear he never has. What's up with that? Rather than answer the tough question, or rather than just say, I have no comment, Santos instead decided to insult the reporter and then literally flee the plea, uh, flee the place as quickly as he could. Mr. Santos, you listed the wrong name of a treasurer. Why did you list the wrong name of your treasurer on your campaign finance forums? I'll have a conversation with you when you become a better, honest reporter. I'm asking you directly, you honest reporter, you know that well, why did you lie about being on a volleyball team? Liar. You're lying. The American people, when you stop lying, when you're really mad reporting, I'll start talking. So wait, you actually were on a volleyball team. Is that right? In college and brew college? Is that true? Is that true?

Now, I kind of want to talk about George Santos running away, especially when asked about his, you know, volleyball pass that he says was ended at a college that he didn't actually attend, uh, because he had surgery, which by the way, there, there would be records of that. So that is something that would be easily verifiable if in fact it did happen. But I think we all know at this point it likely did not. I mean, George, if you did have those knee surgeries, you said you had, that ended your volleyball career, show us the scars. I mean, I think that would be a good way to end it, but you won't even do that because you know you're lying. And so because you are lying, all you can do is turn around and tell the reporter you are lying to the American people. Nope, just cuz you say it doesn't mean it's true, and you of all people should know that by now. But the big thing also that stuck out to me, of course, was the bearded fella who got in between the reporter and Santos and just smiled like a moron giggling because they think this is fun. They think it's all a big joke. I mean, Santos, at one point in that clip, as you saw, he is laughing too. They're having fun with it guys. They don't give a. This is who they are. They think this is fun. They're openly making a mockery of the United States Congress of our government itself, and they're laughing.

That tells you everything you need to know about this. Santos will never resign. It doesn't matter how many people call for his resignation. It doesn't matter what his fellow Republicans in Congress say at this point. He is loving every second of this. Hopefully the American public gets the last laugh. Hopefully we are the ones laughing and smiling at the camera when you get arrested, hopefully by Brazilian authorities.
