4:51Now PlayingAfter reports over the weekend of even more downed "balloons" that were flying over the United States, some of the dumbest people in the country began posting some of the worst conspiracy theories you could imagine. And apparently a lot of those people are supporters and constituents of Marjorie Taylor Greene, who came out and attacked Biden on Monday because her followers now think the country is under an alien invasion. That's not President Biden's fault, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

Marjorie Taylor Green, as she always is, is currently upset with President Biden because her supporters and constituents seem to believe that the United States is under an alien invasion at the moment. Marjorie Taylor Green on Monday, got on Twitter, and she's before, well, before I even read what she said, uh, the whole thing. This is about, obviously we've, the United States has shut down, I think, what, three more balloons that were flying over our country. And of course, immediately once we started seeing all these things in the sky and we're having to shoot 'em down, um, the nut job conservatives out there who apparently all live in Marjorie Taylor Greens district, uh, they immediately think, oh my God, the United States is under attack from aliens. And they're showing up here in flimsy balloons that are somehow capable of interstellar travel. So here is what Marjorie Taylor Greens said on Twitter on Monday, blaming Biden for her, you know, supporters being crazy. People are scared, upset, and are believing crazy things being said on the internet about the three objects shut down by our military. There are not aliens and no evidence of them, but there is a lack of transparency from the Biden admin. And simple explanations are owed to the people.
You, you've got simple explanations. They're, they're balloons sent by other countries. What more do you want? Do you want them to reveal what these other countries are specifically spying on here in the United States? Are they getting our communications? Do you really want the public to know all of that and freak out and demand that we start sending missiles to those countries with the balloons? Or do we kind of say, okay, the intelligence community has a job to do, which they clearly do. We need to figure out why they're doing this, what kind of information they're gathering and for what purpose? They are gathering the information. That is why we spend 800 billion a year on our entire intelligence and military apparatus. This is their job. This is what they're supposed to be doing. But instead, they spend all that money on, you know, fancy new weapons each year, and then they give the excess that they don't need anymore to police departments.
And you know, the rest of that story. But again, Marjorie, we, we have a whole branch of the United States government that is looking into this right now. You don't worry about it. Okay? You got your classified hearing last week about the first balloon shot down, but you chose to not act like a grownup during that. And according to reports, the people there, you turned it into a profane shouting match when the White House was trying to explain to you what happened with the first Chinese balloon. Then you walked out of that meeting, talked to the press and said, ah, let 'em have it. Ooh, I got 'em. Good. So you don't actually care. But now that you've got your own constituents and supporters out there saying some of the dumbest things imaginable on social media about alien invasions, now suddenly you're like, God bless it.
