Vincent Evans writes, what I don't understand is how any documents that leave the archives are not somehow recorded, just like you would at any library. All right? I am sorry here, Mr. Vincent Evans. Unfortunately, you have used common sense when talking about the federal government and that's not allowed because yes, that is. That is such a smart thing, and that's why I'm laughing because yeah, like we're over here getting flabbergasted every couple days cuz uh oh, this person has classified documents. Oh no, here's more classified documents. There's no reporting system. There's like nobody looking over somebody's shoulder to be like, Hey, don't walk outta the room with that. It's just classified documents going across the country willy-nilly. Nobody knows. Nobody cares. And yeah, we could just have, Hey, can you just sign right here? Here's a list of the documents I just handed to you. Please sign that you have them.
And then when you turn them in, I'm gonna check them off, right? I'm just gonna go through the list and then we're gonna be good, right? It's gonna take 10 seconds out of your life to just do this, to make sure nobody goes walking off with nuclear secrets. But we can't even do that because it makes too much sense. And we live in an era where when you talk about politics, you cannot have common sense. If you work in politics, you cannot have common sense because I guess that is just frowned upon here in the United States. But um, Vincent, I love your idea. I really do. And I think that's the easiest and simplest and most brilliant solution. Just sign the form like you were checking out a library book. When you're done with them, you have to turn them back into that person and they will check them off and send them to where they go. But it makes so much sense that it'll probably never be implemented in this backwards country of ours. Thanks
