Rupert Murdoch Gave Jared Kushner Access To Biden Campaign Ads Before They Aired

Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch might be in serious trouble after a new court filing from Dominion revealed that he gave Jared Kushner access to President Biden's 2020 campaign ads BEFORE they aired on television. This was vital information for the Trump campaign, as it would allow them a head start on counter messaging, and could easily, as Rep. Ted Lieu put it, amount to an unreported in-kind campaign donation. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

Fox News, seriously better consider settling the ongoing Dominion Voting System's defamation lawsuit because every couple of days we're getting a lot more damning information from the filings that Dominion is making in court. And of course, yesterday we found out that during his deposition, Fox News owner, Rupert Murdoch admitted that he was feeding Jared Kushner President Biden's 2020 campaign ads before they aired. They were sharing debate prep with Jared Kushner to then share with Donald Trump as well. So you have the owner of the most watched Cable news network in the United States working hand in hand with the 2020 Trump campaign feeding them insider information that the public does not have access to. This is technically confidential information because Biden's paying to run these ads. The ads have not yet run, but Jared Kushner gets exclusive access to them so that of course the Trump campaign can counter the ads maybe even before they air or so that they can at least get a jumpstart on the narrative they want to craft while the ad launches.

I don't even know what to make of this at this point. Fox News, clearly, and I know people are gonna say duh to this, but they're not a news outlet. It is a a, a completely wholly owned subsidiary of the American Republican Party. And Rupert Murdoch should not be considered the owner. He should be considered I, I guess, an advisor to the Republican Party. And the reason I point that out is because, by the way, folks, there's different laws that regulate media outlets versus the laws that regulate political entities. And I think at this point, Fox News has crossed that line from pretending to be a news outlet to definitely being an arm of the Republican party. And as such, they should be regulated based on that. And those regulations for those political entities are far more harsh than those for a news outlet. One of the things that of course would definitely change would be the defamation laws, the standard of proof to show that the network defames somebody would be a lot lower if they were reclassified as a political entity, which at this point is what needs to happen. You have your executives, your owner feeding private personal campaign information to a Republican campaign that's not a news outlet. He only got the access to that information because

He was running the news outlet. So you can't even say Murdoch did this on his own. He took Fox News assets and gave them to the Trump campaign. Something has to be done here. Uh uh, democratic representative Ted Lou pointed out, you know, this really seems a, actually, let me just read what he said on Twitter. He's like, these actions by Rupert Murdoch seem illegal. At the very least, it would appear to be a campaign contribution of significant value well over federal campaign limits. If that's all we can bust Rupert Murdoch for, then let's go for it because this would be considered an in-kind campaign donation because it was not money that was exchanged, but it was valuable information that of course has a price value. I mean, that's the same thing with the Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen. That's why Michael Cohen got busted.

The same thing needs to happen to Rupert Murdoch throw his wrinkly old in jail because this is definitely not cool.
