According to multiple sources close to Donald Trump, the former President is planning on giving away massive amounts of presidential pardons if he makes it back into The White House. Trump has already hinted at giving pardons to Capitol Rioters, but those closest to him say that this would only be the beginning, and any of his allies facing legal problems would likely get pardoned. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

One of the biggest threats of Donald Trump making it back into office, according to those closest to him who recently spoke to Rolling Stone, is that Donald Trump would pretty much engage in a massive pardon party, making sure that anyone charged in the ongoing DOJ investigations during the Biden administration would not have to live with those criminal charges forever. Which basically means all of the work that the DOJ is doing right now that Jack Smith, the special prosecutor is doing, if they charge anyone in Trump's orbit, possibly up to including Donald Trump himself, and then Trump wins in 2024, none of those people will have those charges stick because Donald Trump will make dang sure that each and every one of them, again, up to and including himself, receives a pardon. Because here's the thing folks have to remember, even with Donald Trump himself, if Trump were to be indicted, he can still run for president.
He could still win the presidency, and he could still be elected and sworn in as president. There is nothing that prevents a sitting convict from being the President of the United States. Now, I assume most people in this country would not vote for somebody sitting in a prison cell, but I think we're past the point where assumptions mean anything these days, because anything can happen in our crazy country. So believe it or not, as weird as this sounds, there is a slim chance, a very slim chance that an imprisoned Donald Trump could still become president, then, pardon himself, be released and get back to the White House. That's how ridiculous this entire scenario is. But it's a scenario that is not out of the realm of possibility right now, but it's not just Trump. Of course, he wants to pardon anyone according to these sources That gets charged from Biden's doj, and he's also made multiple comments recently suggesting that he could pardon the Capitol rioters.
The Department of Justice has now arrested 1000 people in connection with the Capitol Riot. They say they have hundreds more. They're still looking forward to arrest, and Trump could issue blanket pardons to each and every one of these people, including the ones who viciously assaulted police officers that are now serving 6, 7, 8 year terms in federal prison. They could all be released. All of those little Donald Trump allies that he never gave the time of day to, but would still return that favor if he gets back into the White House. These are people who have pleaded guilty. They've admitted, yeah, I did it, and they're serving their time for it. But Trump could let each and every
One of them go if he gets back into the White House. So not that most people watching this would consider voting for Donald Trump, but if you needed that extra kick to make sure that he doesn't ever get back into power, there it is. These people, the ones under investigation, if they did anything wrong, they need to pay the price for it. The Capitol rioters who are currently in prison, they were either found guilty by a jury of their peers, or they pleaded guilty and admitted that they did it. They need to suffer the consequences of their actions. Donald Trump going back into the White House would undo every single bit of that.
