Marjorie Taylor Greene SILENCED By Committee After ‘Slandering’ Government Official

A House Homeland Security Committee hearing went completely off the rails on Wednesday, all thanks to Marjorie Taylor Greene being unable to act like a professional adult capable of following rules. While questioning Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Greene accused him and the federal government of doing nothing to stop drugs from entering America, then interrupted him and yelled that he is a liar. This was against House rules, and after a brief discussion, Greene's words were stricken from the record and she was prohibited from speaking the rest of the Hearing. During a Homeland Security Committee hearing yesterday, Marjorie Taylor Green went so off the rails slandering, not just Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Maoris, but also Democratic representative Eric Swalwell, that her own party had to step in and strip her of her ability to speak for the remainder of the hearing. Now, it started off with Marjorie Taylor Green, accusing Eric Swalwell of having an affair with a Chinese spy. Um, in fact, she said quote, after swalwell criticized her, she said, you know, that was rich, uh, from someone that had a sexual relationship with a Chinese spy. And everyone knows it as if she's, you know, a, a high school kid. Uh, for the record, no. Um, there is no evidence, there have been investigations. Swalwell did not give any information to any individual, like to know Chinese spy. There's not even any indication that they actually had a sexual relationship. So Marjorie Taylor Green, just, you know, going with that, uh, Republican favorite conspiracy theory there, and then things got even worse because then she got the chance to talk to Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas, and well, that's when things went really off the rails.
