YouTube Description
as posted by the channelA judge on Monday evening decided to continue to indulge Kari Lake's election claim fantasies by granting her a new trial. The judge says that Lake will now have the chance to prove that Maricopa County did NOT correctly verify signatures in the county, a claim that Lake has repeatedly made in her lawsuit. But the judge told her that she would have to provide actual evidence, after telling her that she's so far failed to do that. If the judge admits there's no evidence, why is a new trial being allowed? Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins discusses this bizarre story.

In a truly bizarre move this week, a judge in the state of Arizona has ruled that Carrie Lake can in fact have another trial. Here's what happened. In case you have not been following along with this story, obviously, Carrie Lake has challenged the results of the 2022 election in the state of Arizona. She first filed her lawsuit with the judge that granted a new, uh, trial this week. He threw it out, the appellate court threw it out. Then the Arizona Supreme Court threw all of it out except for one claim. And that one claim was that Maricopa County did not do everything necessary and proper in validating the signatures for the absentee ballots, which is a completely false claim. So the Supreme Court recently said, okay, lower court, you now have to take up this one claim from Carrie Lake. So last week they had a hearing where the judge was basically based on what they were gonna say or what they said to him, excuse me. Um, said, I will determine whether or not you even get the new trial. I'm only required by the Supreme Court to listen to your arguments and determine if a trial is warranted. So the judge listened to the arguments, and this week he said, all right, Carrie Lake, I'll give you another trial based on this one claim that Maricopa County did not properly validate and verify these signatures.
But then the judge said something weird. He said that, uh, this from the Arizona Mirror that Kerry Lake must prove her allegations by clear and convincing evidence is the quote, something the judge noted. She hasn't done y in her mi months long litigation trying to toss out the November election, noting that Lake's allegation of election fraud, quote, leaps over a substantial gap In the evidence presented Maricopa County's superior court Judge Peter Thompson, wrote in a ruling Monday ordering the new trial, that the evidence she presented falls far below what is needed to establish a basis for fraud. So the judge is already telling her You don't have a case. You don't have a case, you don't have any evidence. But you know what, I'm feeling weird. Let's just give you another trial anyway. No, no, you moron. You were supposed to look at what they presented to you last week, which you did, and when you found out that she had nothing, which means she has no case, you were allowed to just dismiss it, but you chose not to do that. You said, listen, you don't have a case, you don't have evidence, you've got nothing. So I'll see you here tomorrow for your trial. This is idiotic. This is absolutely beyond stupid. At this point, the judge has admitted you don't have a case. The judge said
To face that you don't have evidence. And then the judge said, have fun at your trial. I, I I don't understand this. Judge. It was your job to determine whether or not she brought you enough evidence to see if a trial was even warranted. You said she didn't, but then you granted the trial, the this, this is mindblowingly stupid at this point. And of course, once this ruling came out, Carrie Lake put on Twitter, said, huge following Supreme Court ruling Maricopa, judge Grant's carry Lake the opportunity to expose election fraud in court. The judge screwed the pooch on this one.
