Trump Org CFO Could Face More Criminal Charges If He Doesn't Roll On Trump

According to new reports, prosecutors at the Manhattan DA's office have encountered some "red flags" that could indicate that Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg committed perjury during his testimony to New York Attorney General Letitia James. According to new reports, Alan Weisselberg, the Chief Financial Officer of the Trump organization, is under pressure to roll on Donald Trump. And as the report states, if he does not cooperate, because they've been trying to get him to cooperate for quite a long time now, he may end up being popped with additional charges that could send him right back to prison on Rikers Island. So here's what we know so far. Manhattan District Attorney, Alvin Bragg, believes that they have found multiple red flags in Weisberg's testimony and deposition with New York Attorney General Leticia James. And the reason Bragg was looking into this was because Bragg had wanted to talk to Weisselberg as part of their investigation into the hush money payment, but they were unable, as far as I know, to do so. Weisselberg was not being cooperative with them. So Bragg, in going through these uh, testimonies and depositions, found multiple passages that apparently seemed to contradict one another. Meaning either he lied in this one or he lied in this one because the two are complete opposites. And if you lied in a deposition or during your testimony, that is in fact perjury and that would result in criminal charges. However, we do not know what this alleged perjury is regarding.

All we know is that they believe they have found perjury and they're dangling it in front of him saying, if you do not cooperate with us, we have this additional charge here that we can hit you with. It's a charge that's gonna put you back in that jail cell for a few more months. Is that what you want? Do you wanna stay there on Rikers? Do you wanna have to go back through that? Or are you ready to get back home to your family? You're an elderly man, I imagine you don't wanna spend your remaining time on this planet locked away behind bars. But that could be your reality if you do not start cooperating. Now, it was predicted when Weisselberg was first indicted that, oh man, he is gonna roll on Trump pretty quickly. I thought that a lot of legal analysts thought that, and so far it has not happened. And of course that is making the prosecutors, both at the state level and the local level, very angry because they know that Weisselberg has all of the information. They know that he is very relevant, what he did, what he saw, what he knows to their ongoing investigations. And if they cannot extrapolate that information from him, it is going to severely hinder those investigations as they continue to move forward. But now they have all the power, or do they? Because we already thought that right? Weisselberg has already gone to prison.

And clearly that didn't phase him. Even that didn't wake him up to the point where he was like, okay, hold up, hold up, I'll talk. So maybe they've got a good bargaining chip, maybe they don't. I mean, if you weren't able to get him to flip before he went to prison, I don't know that threatening him with another month or two is gonna get the job done. Now, that may be all these prosecutors have, we don't know. But right now Weisselberg is staying tight lipped and it seems like he might even be willing to go back to prison to protect Donald Trump.
