The classified document that Donald Trump is on tape boasting about retaining after he left office is now missing, and prosecutors don't know where it could be. The document was reportedly at Trump's Bedminster resort, but now it remains unaccounted for in the documents that the DOJ has recovered from Trump properties. This could mean one of several things, the most obvious being that Trump is still hiding documents from the government. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what's happening.

The classified document that Donald Trump is on tape bragging about is missing. According to a new report from CNN over the weekend, that document from that summer 2021 gathering where Donald Trump told a group of people, yes, I've got this document. It's classified, I can't declassify it, but it talks about attacking Iran. It's gone. The DOJ cannot locate the document that was supposed to have been at Donald Trump's New Jersey, Bedminster Golf Resort. They have sent subpoenas to the individuals who were allegedly present at that meeting asking for any information they may have, any materials they may have, and still nothing. Which, according to the reports, is leading the DOJ to believe that Donald Trump has not in fact turned over all of the classified documents that he allegedly took from the White House. But here's the two possible scenarios, and I think there, there is one that we do have to consider at this point.

Donald Trump lies all the time, right? That's nothing new. We know that, and Donald Trump likes to brag about things that are not in fact true. So we have to take into consideration the fact that Donald Trump may have been lying about having that document in his possession. He may have been in front of a group of people trying to make himself look, I, I don't know, cooler, and said, oh yeah, I got this document. Oh, it talks about all this crazy. I can't tell you what it says, but it's totally cool and I have it like I totally have it back at my house. That could have been a lie. So this bombshell tape that we're hearing about that the DOJ has in their possession could be nothing more than Donald Trump blowing smoke. I mean, it's a real possibility. We know how much Donald Trump lies. We know how much he likes to brag, so we cannot rule that out.

The much more likely thing, however, is that Donald Trump does in fact have that document and he has been hiding documents from the DOJ this entire time. That of course seems to be far more plausible than Donald Trump not actually having that document in his possession. But right now, we do not know where that classified document is. And of course there is one conspiracy theory that's already starting to float around, and that is that Bedminster where this document allegedly was is where Saudi Arabia with their l i v golf tournament, you know, did host an event there. So there's speculation that maybe Donald Trump gave it to Saudi Arabia, sold it to them. Who knows? Um, I, I don't know. We don't know. Nobody knows. The DOJ doesn't know. The FBI doesn't know where this document that is supposed to lay out

Plans to be able to attack Iran. I'm assuming that means it lists their vulnerabilities, their weaknesses, their military capabilities, things that an enemy of Iran like Saudi Arabia would highly value. But that's all we know right now. The document is missing. We don't know where it is. People have been subpoenaed, but so far the document has not turned up. It may be time for the Department of Justice to go ahead and send the FBI to a bunch of other Donald Trump properties, homes, towers, anywhere this man has ever been, to make sure he's not hoarding more documents. Cuz at this point, that seems like the most likely conclusion based on the information that we have.
