YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIn a video posted online last week, indicted Republican Representative George Santos said that he was going to fight to preserve the "integrity" of Congress, sparking howls of laughter from the online community. Santos is the LAST person that should be talking about integrity, even before he was indicted for counts of fraud, and the backstory to his video makes his statement even dumber than you could imagine. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what happened.

So last week, Republicans attempted to censure Democratic representative Adam Schiff because Schiff, of course, during the Trump years investigated Donald Trump. Now, typically that's not the kind of thing that you would censure somebody for, but we got a Republican party that is squarely out for revenge. So that's what they attempted to do. And of course it failed because 20 Republicans broke ranks to vote with Democrats to kill the measure. But one of the people who wanted Adam Schiff to be censured, of course, for, you know, taking down the integrity of Congress a notch, was none other than indicted Republican Congressman George Santos. Santos even put out a video before the censure vote, where he whined about the lack of integrity in Congress. The man who's been indicted on 13 counts, including wire fraud and money laundering, thinks that dog, uh, doggone it, Congress just doesn't have the integrity that it needs to have.
So here is what Santos said in that idiotic video, this abhorrent behavior is unacceptable. For a member of Congress to not carry out a CSU would be a miscarriage of justice and a dereliction of our sworn duty. As members of the House of Representatives, we must preserve the integrity of the US House of Representatives and censure. Adam Schiff today. Yeah, George Santos, it should be noted, has not himself been censured, even though I would think quite emotion, uh, would be, you know, called for would be appropriate and would probably pass too, because you've been indicted on 13 counts and you yourself have zero integrity. You're the same guy who earlier this year, by the way, had to work out a plea deal with Brazilian authorities so that you didn't get your extradited down to Brazil and spend a couple years in prison in another country. You also lied about your grandparents being in the Holocaust. You not lied about your mom dying from exposure on nine 11. You lied about your past, you lied about sports, you lied about your education, you lied about your job history, and you are the one who says, by God, we gotta preserve the integrity of the house. Now, here's where things get even funnier, because Santos puts out this video, says, by God, we gotta censure Adam Schiff. So then afterwards, George Santos goes to the floor of the house, votes on the censure bill and votes present.
He didn't even vote to c censor him. So you lied in your video like, we've gotta do this, I'm gonna do it. And then you just didn't do it. Like, oh my God, this man is pathologically
Incapable of telling the truth. So you put out a video to lie about what you were gonna do, even though you didn't even have to do that, you made the choice to do it because for the love of God, you cannot stop yourself from lying. There is a problem with a lack of integrity in the House of Representatives, and even though I'm no fan of Adam Schiff, I can guarantee you the lack of integrity is not coming from Adam Schiff. It is coming from people like George Santos who are so incredibly clueless as to what the word integrity actually means.
