According to the new book from former Trump administration official Miles Taylor, the former President ordered a Customs and Border Patrol Official to break the law by defying a court order. Trump made the alleged request during a trip to the border in 2019, and demanded that the official close down the border and tell everyone we were full. Trump then said that if there was any problems with this being illegal, he would simply pardon the man after he did it.
