Nikki Haley Calls For Generational Change Then Immediately Says She'll Support Trump

During an interview on CNBC this week, Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley said that the GOP needs a "generational change" in its leadership. She wants the Party to be looking to the future instead of constantly looking back into the past. That's not a bad idea, but it was ruined by Haley then immediately saying that she'll vote for Trump if (when) he wins the GOP's nomination for 2024. During an appearance on C N B C this week, presidential candidate Nikki Haley told the audience, told the crowd, told everybody what she has been saying for several months now. And that is that the Republican party itself needs a generational change. That's how she's repeatedly described. We need a generational change, forgetting that she is of course pretty much in the same generation as Donald Trump, but whatever, you know, nobody's gonna argue the semantics of the generational change. It's not a bad idea. The Republican party needs some young blood. They need new people, of which Nikki Haley herself is not. But then in the same breath, Nikki Haley also admitted while saying that we totally need new people. We don't need to be looking to the past. We need to be looking to the future. She then said that she'll totally support Donald Trump if he's the nominee.

And then in the same breath as that, she also said, but Donald Trump is just so dangerous as a candidate and he is got so much baggage, he totally shouldn't be the nominee. So we're talking about like the most flip, floppy answers possible, like going from, we don't need Trump, but I'll vote for Trump. But it shouldn't be Trump. 'cause Trump sucks. But he is also not bad. Like, let me read you these idiotic statements from Nikki Haley. And this all again happened to the same interview. I have said it very clearly that we need a new generational leader. We've got to leave this negativity behind. She was then immediately asked like, but what if Trump's nominee? What are you gonna do? And she's like, I would support him because I am not going to have a president Kamala Harris. We can't afford that. That is not going to happen.

Okay? So you definitely don't want it to be Trump, but you will totally support Donald Trump. And then she says, but I will tell you, you look at these indictments, uh, there's probably going to be a fourth indictment we can't have as Republicans, him as the nominee. He can't win a general election. That's the problem. We've got to go and have someone who can actually win. So Trump is bad and we need a new leader, but I'll totally vote for Trump, even though he's bad, but he's so bad that he will definitely lose, even if I promise to vote for him and go out there and campaign for him. Um, I don't know what, what the heck, uh, Nikki Haley's even trying to tell us here. Like what's funny is that you're like, we need a new generational leader, ed. We need somebody else. You are running for president. Like you're supposed to be like, we need me. I should be the one. But you can't even bring yourself to do that. It's like you're not even endorsing your own campaign. You're just out there like, for the love of God, will somebody come as a new leader for the Republican party? 'cause I don't wanna do it. I'm not up to the task. But somebody should do it because if you don't, we're all gonna fall in line and vote for Donald Trump. Anyway, Nikki Haley's sentiment. There is the thing that

We all need to be worried about because sure, we have plenty of Republicans out there right now. These never Trump Republicans, or maybe not necessarily the never Trump, but the people who are like, man, I hate Trump. I don't want him to be the nominee. Most of them are gonna vote for him anyway when he is the nominee.
