James Comer Mocked For Saying He Was At Hunter Biden Hearing That He Didn't Attend

House Oversight Committee Chairman, Republican representative James Comer, has caused a bit of confusion this week because Comer insists that he was somehow present at last week's closed door hearing with Deon Archer, the former Hunter Biden business associate that was basically brought in as the star witness to take down Hunter. And of course, his father Joe, president Biden, Deon Archer, of course, did not do that because the transcript has now been released. And oddly enough, comer who reports indicated on that day did not attend the meeting. Multiple people there, including the Republicans there are actually furious that he didn't attend the meeting. Comer is now out there trying to say, I was at the meeting, James Comer, the chairman of the House Oversight Committee is flat out lying, not just to the country. That doesn't matter. He's lying to his own party about like, no, I was, I was there.

Like I was totally there. Like, yeah, what, like, what are you talking about? This has actually led one senior G o p, uh, source from the meeting said, there's just no way he effing called in. I've never even heard of someone doing that for a transcribed interview. The source then said, I don't get it. Just take the loss and move on. You know? So the Republicans on the committee, as I said, they're mad. He wasn't there. They wanted him there. But now that they're mad comer's, like, no, I was, I, yeah, I was, I guess I was like, I was, listen in the corner, you didn't see me. I was hiding behind the flag. Oh, ah, you can't see me. But I was totally listening in. But no, that's not actually what he's saying. His, uh, spokesperson said throughout the transcribed interview, chairman Comer was in constant communication with committee staff questioning Devin Archer and received updates critical to his investigation into the Biden family's influence peddling schemes.

Problem is, there isn't a single Republican that's come out and said, oh, yes, I was actually texting with Comer as this was happening. I was on the phone with him. That didn't happen. Nobody can corroborate that story. In fact, the Republicans are now all looking around like, well, well, who was talk? Who was talking to Comer? I wasn't, were you? Nope, I wasn't. Maybe it was them. Nope, not me. Comers are straight up lying for, for no reason, because that's what Republicans do. There is no reason for comer to lie about being in constant communication with these people during one hearing. People miss hearings. I get it, man. You don't even have to have a valid reason. You could be like, listen, guys, I overslept, man, I was tired. I was up all night. So, uh, I just didn't go, Hey, I had to take my dog to the vet, so I, I couldn't go. Or you could just say, I didn't feel like it. I got Republicans. They're competent. They're on the committee. They could handle it. I just didn't

Wanna do it. But instead, he straight up lying to his own people about his involvement in it. Now, Dan Goldman, the only Democrat, all who was at the hearing. He had this to say, uh, the chairman was neither present nor on the phone for the Devon Archer interview, you. So yeah, even the one Democrat that was there was like, dude, you weren't there. You weren't there in person. You weren't there spiritually. You weren't there digitally.
