Elise Stefanik Makes Complete Fool Of Herself While Nominating Jim Jordan For Speaker

Republican Congresswoman Elise Stefanik managed to make a complete fool of herself during her speech officially nominating Jim Jordan to be the next Speaker of the House. Stefanik's job was to sell Jordan, not only to fellow members of Congress, but also to the American public, and she failed spectacularly. The specific part of her speech that actually drew "boos" from the crowd inside the House was when she mentioned Jordan's time as a wrestling coach - something that Stefanik should have known was going to be harmful. So yesterday Republican representative Jim Jordan was of course humiliated when he failed to secure enough votes to become the next speaker of the house. But prior to his humiliation, Elise Stefanik, Republican leader in the house actually did the nominating of Jim Jordan. And during her nomination speech, she managed to remind the public of what a horrible human being, Jim Jordan has been accused of being here is what Elise Stef said. The kinda set the tone for the whole day. She said, quote, Jim is the voice of the American people who have felt voiceless for far too long, whether as judiciary, chair, conservative, leader or representative for his constituents in West Central Ohio. Whether on the wrestling mat or in the committee room. Jim Jordan is strategic, scrappy, tough, and principled on the wrestling mat. You know, of all the things that Jim Jordan has done in his life, of all the things that Jim Jordan has been accused of doing, perhaps bringing up his history as an assistant wrestling coach, where he's been accused by some of his former wrestlers of turning a blind eye to the abuse that they suffered.

Maybe that's not the best thing to remind everybody in the country of before you try to make the guy the speaker the house. 'cause you see, Elise Stefanik was not just trying to sell Jim Jordan to the, to the house. She was selling Jim Jordan to the public by reminding them of his history with wrestling, of which there is no good connotation for Jim Jordan. Like, why don't you just bring up like, and on January 6th, he was trying to not certify the election. He was texting Mark Meadow. Like all of the horrible things Jim Jordan done, uh, has done or has been accused of doing, I should say, should have been left out of that speech. Elise, like why that's not even relevant. Bringing up his wrestling history was not even relevant. It's almost as if, and I know this sounds conspiratorial, but I swear to God it's almost as if Elise Stef wanted Jim Jordan to fail. I, that is the only reason I can conceive of as to why she would actually mention his history with wrestling. Because again, huge scandal there that was never fully fleshed out. But she did it. And then of course Jim Jordan went on to lose by 20 votes. And I do have to point out, obviously they're gonna do another vote today. Um, I'm recording this in the morning. So they have not done the vote yet. Perhaps by the time you watch it

Have doesn't seem like Jordan's going to have the votes, but you know, he is trying to work it around the clock to get those votes. But what's funny to me is that Monday evening, right, news outlets were reporting that, oh, there's like 15 to 20 holdouts. But a lot of them are now signaling they're gonna support Jim Jordan. So Monday evening we heard that, oh, it's not gonna be 15, definitely not gonna be 20. Jim Jordan May have it 'cause these people are flipping. Then Tuesday rolls around and they're like, oh nope, nevermind, sorry. 20 people voted against him. So the media got it wrong. Jim Jordan got humiliated and it all started with Elise St. Reminding the entire country of how horrible Jim Jordan, the man who has never passed a single bill in congress, really is.
