Crying Jenna Ellis Throws Trump And Giuliani Under The Bus During Plea Hearing

Former Trump lawyer Jenna Ellis was reduced to tears as she accepted a plea deal in a hearing on Tuesday. Yesterday. Jenna Ellis, as we all know, accepted her formal plea deal. She went into that Fulton County courtroom, cried her eyes out in front of everybody there, talking about how remorseful she was, and oh gee, whizz, how sorry I am, that I did all these horrible, stupid things. And then of course, she proceeded to throw both Rudy Giuliani and of course Donald Trump under the bus. Now, I do wanna start, of course, by talking about the fact that she did burst into tears into courtroom, and she is the one, you know, who, who went in for her mugshot a couple months ago, whatever it was, uh, with the biggest smile on her face, right? Her mugshot, super smiley. She looks incredibly happy. Like, ah, this is a great day, right? I mean, everybody's having fun. We're getting our mugshots done. Then after that, you know, she talked about, you know, oh, we're gonna fight this.

Then she's like, I can't fight this. Gonna have to take the plea deal. She's going to avoid jail time. She's getting five years probation, a hundred hours community service, uh, registering as a first offender, obviously. Uh, and she has to write a letter to the state of Georgia talking about how super, sorry she is about all of this happening. But that's all just the fun part. The silly part, the important part is what she said about the other lawyers, specifically Rudy Giuliani. And this is what she told the court yesterday. If I knew then what I know now, I would've declined to represent Donald Trump in these post challenges. I look back on this experience with deep remorse. She said that she relied on more experienced lawyers to provide her with true and reliable information, but she should have ensured the information she was receiving was accurate.

I failed to do my due diligence. She said, in the wake of the 2020 presidential election, I believed that challenging the results on behalf of President Trump should be pursued in just, in a just and legal way. I endeavored to represent my client to the best of my ability. Yet you also drafted the memos that outlined a legal strategy for Mike Pence to, you know, throw out the electoral college results. So let's not forget that you did that too. But she relied on the advice of lawyers far more experienced than she is, and that, of course, is referring specifically to Rudy Giuliani. She didn't do her due diligence. If she knew then what she knows now, she never would've represented Donald Trump. So she's throwing Trump under the bus. She's throwing Giuliani even further under the bus. But really what she's also doing is destroying Donald Trump's last remaining legal argument. And that is his advice of counsel argument, saying, Hey, I was getting all this advice from these really bad

Lawyers. They know the law. I don't, so I can't be held li liable because I was acting on their advice. She is right there saying like, yeah, we got bad advice, but at the end of the day, it's on us to, you know, vet it to do our due diligence, to look into it, to research. And none of us did it. So that not only hurts Rudy Giuliani, but that definitely hurts Donald Trump's possible legal defense in this case.
