Courtroom Laughs When Trump Lawyers Whine About Not Being Respected

The courtroom for Donald Trump's fraud trial in New York erupted in giggles on Wednesday when Trump lawyer Christopher Kise whined about not getting any respect in the courtroom. He and co-counsel Alina Habba got into a debate with the prosecutors about the lack of respect that they are receiving, and Habba went as far as to ask the judge to prevent people from rolling their eyes during their questioning. You know, Donald Trump's lawyers have not been having a very good time with the ongoing fraud trial in New York. And on Wednesday of this week, you know, after of course, Donald Trump got sanctioned for $10,000 for violating the gag order again, um, his lawyers got into a fight, not with each other, of course, but they got into a fight with the prosecutors. Now, cameras are not allowed inside of the courtroom, so we do not have footage of what happened. Unfortunately, we do not have recordings. All we have are the accounts of the reporters who were present in the courtroom. And their reporting, by the way, has been very accurate so far. So according to that reporting, here is what happened in the courtroom on Wednesday. First it started with Alina Haba, who for some reason is still on Donald Trump's legal team. But anyway, Alina Haba asked the judge, judge, could you please tell everybody to stop rolling their eyes and whispering every time I'm up here asking questions of a witness?

So Alina Haba was mad because the entire courtroom is basically, you know, kind of mocking her every time she questions a witness, and it's starting to hurt her feelings, right? She feels like super disrespected. So she asked the judge to do that, and the judge was like, all right, yeah, guys, ke keep it down. You know, she's, she's nervous, I guess she doesn't know what she's doing, so just like, let's not be mean to her. She, she's a little new at this. She, she used to represent a parking garage, and now she's representing the former president of the United States. It's a big step up, and she doesn't appear to be up to snuff on this. But then it was Trump lawyer, Christopher Keys, who decided to pull out his best Rodney Dangerfield impression and whined to the judge and attacked the prosecution. That's where that fight comes in, because nobody was respecting him, right?

The old Rodney Dangerfield, I, I get no respect. Uh, it's a horrible impression, by the way, but that is effectively what Christopher Keys did on Wednesday, started whining and moaning about not being respected by anybody. And when he did it, according to the reports, the courtroom, everybody in the courtroom laughed at him. So he's like, why am I not being respected? And then everybody disrespects him further by just laughing their butts off at him. Then read you this. This is according to MSNBC's legal analyst, Lisa Rubin, before you know it, keys is fighting with the ags team accusing them of disrespecting him.
