Earlier this week, Donald Trump shared a meme on truth social threatening black election workers here in the United States. Now, it was a simple enough meme. It was shared by another user on truth social. All Donald Trump did was repost it, or as it's called, on truth social. He retruded it. It's a picture of two black people sitting at a table. They look like they might be election workers, but they're wearing Biden Harris 2020 face coverings. This is during Covid, um, and it has a caption on the photograph that says, start arresting the poll workers and watch how fast they tell you who told them to cheat.

Now, it specifically, again, is two black people in the photograph. There is no confirmation from anyone that these two individuals are poll workers or that they're at the polls when this picture was taken. But it's black people. You could have pulled literally any photograph of any election worker, any poll worker from anywhere in the country. Y'all chose on the right 'cause Trump didn't make the meme, but somebody on the right did. It's been traced back to a lot of antibi, uh, Facebook pages. You chose black people for a reason, and the reason is because a lot of y'all are racist. You may not want to think it. Some of you may swear up and down that you're not, and you may not be. But as a whole, your party is, and that's what this is about. This goes back to the same claims made after 2020 when Republicans dog piled on the two African American election workers in Georgia, Ruby Freeman and Shay Moss, you know, attacked these women, accused them of being on drugs, said they were passing around a flash drive, you know, pulling ballots out from under the tables, ran these women's names through the mud for your own personal gain.

You're now getting your comeuppance, by the way, with the lawsuits they filed. But it's always black people. That's who they always go after, and that is not a coincidence. That's why Donald Trump saves his harshest criticisms for Leticia James Attorney General in New York, but she's black, Fannie Willis, Fulton County District Attorney, but she's black Alvin Bragg, Manhattan District attorney, but he's black. The harshest things that Trump has had to say about people always go towards black people here in the United States, and this meme is no exception. We don't know who those people in the photograph are. We don't know if they're poll workers. We don't know, you know, what state they're in. Republicans have even posted, some have said, no, this is Detroit. Uh, this was Philadelphia. Some of 'em said, no, this is Georgia. They don't know what they're talking about. All they know is they put out a picture with two

Black people on it saying Start arresting these people, and that's all you need to know. But images like this, even though it's just a meme, this can get people hurt. This can get people killed. This can ruin their lives like Republicans tried to do with those two poll workers in Georgia. And it's all deeply rooted in the racism embedded in the Republican party.
