YouTube Description
as posted by the channelDonald Trump was already facing a very real threat from Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.'s Independent bid for the White House with polls showing that voters are leaving Trump for RFK, but now a new analysis of RFK, Jr.'s campaign finances show that he's always stealing away some of Trump's wealthiest donors. While Kennedy's longshot bid still has him in a distant third, his candidacy is proving to be a major thorn in the side for the Trump campaign, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

A new report came out from Politico this week after they examined Robert F. Kennedy jr's finances for his independent bid to become the next president of the United States. And they found something that is absolutely horrific for a man named Donald Trump. It turns out that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Is actually siphoning away a lot of donors that were once Trump donors. Now here's what's funny about this, this analysis of RFK Jr's data. The $10 million that he had reported was not from the time after he switched from running in the Democratic primary to being an independent candidate. So this was all before he became an independent candidate. So while he was still a Democrat, he was pulling in a couple million bucks from people who either in the past had given to Trump or were still giving to Donald Trump. You know, because at the time they're like, eh, this guy could tank Biden.
Let's give him some money. Keep him afloat. Right? Well, but they're regretting that right about now, polls have shown recently that of course Robert F. Kennedy Jr. When you do the three-way polling Biden Trump, Kennedy, Kennedy actually sucks away more Republican donors than he does Democrat, uh, excuse me, voters. He sucks away more Republican voters than he does democratic voters, you know, by an insane margins. So when Kennedy is factored into the race, Biden actually wins by a bigger margin against Donald Trump than he does when Kennedy is not in the race. So Kennedy is absolutely destroying Donald Trump's chances to become the next president, not only with the voters, but according to this new analysis also with the donors. So let me read you this from Politico. His large dollar donor base has a clear Republican lien that also fits with limited polling that suggests Kennedy might draw more support from Republican leaning voters.
Most of the 10 million Kennedy raised from large dollar donors through September 30th came from voters who did not make any federal donations during either the 2016 or 2020 cycles. So most of his money is coming from donors, big money donors who didn't uh, participate in the last two elections that Donald Trump is involved in. So that is important to know. Not all of his money is coming from right wingers that gave to Trump, but it says, of those who did 2100 donors giving nearly $2 million previously made contributions on the Republican donation service win red since 2020. Far fewer donors previously gave through the Democratic Tool Act blue, roughly 1700 contributors who gave 1.4 million. So yes, definitely more Republican but still actually taking a lot of Democrats with 'em too. The report
Continues. The data shows more than 500 of Kennedy's biggest donors gave to Trump's 2020 campaign, more than three times the number of donors who gave to Biden in that race. And in this cycle, more than 160 donors have given to both Trump and Kennedy, while only a handful have given to both Biden and Kennedy. It's not just Trump. More than 160 of Kennedy's donors have also given to biotech entrepreneur, Vikk remiss Swami, who also brands himself as an anti-establishment candidate. Another 100 also contributed to Florida governor Ron DeSantis, who has leaned into his anti-vax stance on the campaign trail. So no matter which way you slice it, Kennedy, if he stays in this race, is definitely going to be a factor.
