More House Republicans Are Quitting Because Their Party Has Gone Insane

The number of Republicans that are retiring at the end of their current term in office continues to grow, and most of them are citing the same reason: Their Party is no longer recognizable. Other Republicans that have called it quit in the past two or three years have said the same thing, and it is time that the voters pay attention to what these people are telling us. If the insiders themselves say that the Party is broken, we clearly don't need to be sending them to Washington, D.C. anymore, as Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains.

You know, there was a really great opinion piece in the hill this week written by Juan Williams where Williams pointed out the fact that in just the last couple months, we have had, uh, what is it? Four, four Republican members of the House of Representatives announce that they are done after their current term. Now these are individuals who could still have many, many, many years left in the house, but they've all decided they're done with the chaos coming from the Republican party, their own party, and they're just saying, screw it. I'm not gonna do this. One of those people, the most recent one is Ken Buck, who of course announced when he said he wasn't gonna run for reelection. He said, the Republican party's just lying to the public. Another one of those people, uh, Republican Representative Victoria Sparts of Indiana, she said The Republican House is failing the American people. Again, Debbie Lusko, Republican from Arizona said, right now Washington DC is broken. It's hard to get anything done. You also had house appropriations Chair, Kay Granger announced that she was resigning, or not resigning, but just not running for reelection. So you've got all these Republicans resigning. Nearly all of them have said it's because, hey, our party kind of sucks.

And that's just in the last couple months. In the last few years, we have also seen other Republican members of Congress straight up call it quits and blame the Republican for, uh, party for it. David Jolly Adam Kinzinger. This is becoming a trend for Republican members of the House of Representatives, and the trend is not that they're resigning. The trend is why they're resigning. They're resigning because they say that their party is unworkable. It's a party of liars. It's a party that actually doesn't care about governing. It's a party that physically can't get anything done. So when you have members of a political party, like not just, Hey, I'm a voting Republican, no, I'm talking about people that have run for office as Republicans proudly carried that Republican banner with them, and they have been telling us now four years in droves, my party sucks.

I don't know about you, but I kind of feel like that's the thing that Republican voters across the country probably need to start paying attention to. Because if you're a card carrying member of the Republican Party of the United States, listen to the people telling you from the inside, this thing is broken. This thing doesn't work. Republicans aren't good for the country, and that's coming from Republicans. You don't have to take my word for it, obviously, I've got a bone to pick with Republicans. I'm not a fan of them. Never have been. But if you're not gonna listen to me or if you're not gonna

Listen to anybody else on the left, how about you? Voters start listening to the people in your own party who are leaving it at a record breakneck pace, because they're the ones telling you, this party has turned into hot garbage.
