Democrats Are Overperforming In Elections After SCOTUS Overturned Roe v Wade

The Democratic Party has seen major electoral victories since the overturning of Roe v Wade in the summer of 2022, and the restricting of reproductive rights for women is probably the largest reason for these victories. Even in Red States, conservative voters are going against their Party on the issue. The recent off year election showed us just how inaccurate polling can be when Democrats overperformed even in deep red states. And it's not a one-off thing either. Democrats have actually been overperforming in elections, including last year's midterms this year's off year. And of course, all of the special elections in between, sometimes with progressives getting elected in deep red areas like in Jacksonville, Florida. But that leads me to my next question here. So perhaps you can make sense of the discourse between President Biden's low approval ratings in polls and the trend of recent victories for Democratic Party.

When it comes to stateside, it just doesn't compute, and I can't understand the Biden bashing, considering his track record of getting the US back on its feet and marching forward after diaper do dump Donald's disaster years. Um, okay. Lot to take in, but basically the heart of the question is, Biden's got low approval ratings, he's actually done a lot, and he's not getting credit for it. I agree a hundred percent Pap and I actually just did a segment about that recently. Uh, so I'm not gonna, you know, rehash all of that. But the part about the Democrats overperforming in the elections when the polls are like, oh, we're mad at Democrats and Bidens. Yeah, it doesn't make sense except that it also makes perfect sense because when did Democrats start overperforming immediately after the overturning of Roe versus Wade? Even in deep red states like Kansas, where abortion bans have been put on the ballot given to the people in deep red states, conservative voters, even conservative voters have said, no, we don't want it.

We don't want an abortion ban in our state. Everywhere reproductive rights and reproductive health freedom for women has been put on the ballot. The voters have chosen freedom, and that, of course, is helping the Democrats. So as, as, as long as those voters continue to turn out, we will continue to see Democrats overperforming, regardless of what those idiotic polls are telling us on a daily or weekly basis. The overturning of Roe, again, even in deep red States, was a shock to this country. And of course, it was followed immediately by all these red state abortion bans that aren't sitting well with voters. And that's why Republicans got trounced in, uh, you know, the, the off-year elections a couple weeks ago, and it's going to continue to happen. Do you know why? Because Republicans aren't gonna write the course. They're, they're not gonna figure this out and say, okay, let's stop talking about abortion. You've got swing state Republicans in Congress

Right now, according to a new report from Politico out last week that are begging their counterparts stop talking about abortion. Stop, stop doing it. Stop pushing it. It's killing us. They get it, they understand, but too many and the rest of the party don't. And they're gonna keep running on that issue. They're not gonna be introspective. They're not gonna say, well, wait a minute, we are screwing up with this messaging here.
