YouTube Description
as posted by the channelDuring a House hearing late last week, Marjorie Taylor Greene got called out by Democratic Representative Maxine Waters for taking out a PPP Loan and having it forgiven by the federal government. Waters was using that as an example of the hypocrisy of Republicans who talk nonstop about cutting programs for the poor while taking money for themselves. Greene was livid, and she took to Twitter to blast Waters using the dumbest possible arguments you could have dreamed up. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains what happened.

Late last week during a hearing in the House of Representatives Democratic representative, Maxine Waters called out Marjorie Taylor Greene, for not only getting a PPP loan for her business in the early days of the pandemic, but also for having that loan completely forgiven by the federal government. So Marjorie Taylor Greene gets a bunch of money from the government to keep her business running, as did, uh, countless other businesses in this country. And then she didn't have to pay any of it back, you know, socialism, if you will. And Marjorie Taylor Greene was furious that Maxine Waters pointed out her hypocrisy because that's what this was about. This wasn't Maxine Waters saying, how dare you take a PPP loan. No. Maxine Waters like every other Democrat in that body, understands that we have Republican hypocrites who want to cut food stamps, they want to cut social security, they want to cut Medicare, Medicaid.
Uh, they don't want student loan debt forgiveness, but when it comes to them getting free money, oh hell yeah, they're all for that. And they all, when they were able to, took advantage of it just like Marjorie Taylor Greene. So that's what waters was pointing out, the hypocrisy of it all. Right? Like, you won't help these people that are desperately in need, but you were more than happy to take free money from the government and never have to pay it back. Green got on Twitter, because I'm not gonna call it by that other stupid letter name, it has and said this about Maxine Waters. Maxine Waters is attacking me for taking a PPP loan like so many had to before I was a member of Congress when the tyrannical government shut us all down. Maxine is 85 years old and has held government office since 1976.
Okay? Um, she goes on, but I'm gonna stop right there for a moment. Like, what does that have to do? Like, she's been an office since 1976. Okay? So she knows how things work and you don't, okay, so that's, I get why you're pointing that out. Like she's smart, you're dumb. Got it. Uh, secondly, the tyrannical government, Marge, could you remind me? Let's see. The PPP loans came out when, like April, 2020, May, 2020. Who was running our tyrannical government at that time? That, uh, that, that wasn't a Democrat? No, his name escapes me, but I'm sure it'll pop back in any moment Now, who the tyrant was running the federal government. But let's assume maybe Marge isn't talking about the federal government. Maybe she's talking about her home state, right? Those tyrants in the state of Georgia that was run by a Republican and a Republican Secretary of State and a Republican lieutenant governor. So no matter how you slice it, Marjorie Taylor Greene is in fact just crapping on the entire Republican party, calling them all tyrants. But she continued.
She has no idea what it's like to meet payroll and keep a business running. Maxine, is everything wrong with politicians today? Too old, no real life experience, corrupt and tyrannical. Is she going to clinging to power until she dies? Like so many of her peers, Marge wants to know, um, to be honest, probably, and I'm not a big fan of that either, but like, she doesn't know how to meet a payroll. Is she supposed to, are you saying, Marge, that the only people in this country that matter are the people who get to run payrolls? The people who own businesses? Those are the only ones that matter, not the people that work for 'em, right? Like, screw those people.
