Hollywood celebrities are donating large sums of money to Lauren Boebert's Democratic challenger Adam Frisch as part of a broad effort to end her political career for good. This is not a good thing. If there's one thing that rallies Republican voters more than culture war issues, it is their disdain for wealthy Hollywood celebrities. This move could easily backfire, just as it has in three previous high-profile political races in recent years. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains why this influx of Hollywood cash is NOT a good thing.

Lauren Bert's race for reelection next year is getting even tougher as her Democratic opponent, same as she had last year. Adam Frisch has raised roughly four times more money than Bobert has, as she faces a very tough reelection with the memories of Beetlejuice still fresh in everyone's minds. But there's a problem according to new information, new reports. A lot of that money that's going to Democrat Adam Frisch in that race is coming from people that not only cannot vote in that district 'cause they don't live there, but it's coming from people who are generally as a whole, despised by Republicans, which might actually give Republicans more of a reason to, instead of sitting out and not voting for Bobert, get involved and help push Bobert towards a reelection. And those people are the most universally despised people in the Republican's eyes. Hollywood celebrities, Ryan Reynolds, Barbara Streisand, Rob Reiner, who Republicans absolutely loath, and even Johnny Cash's daughter, Roseanne Cash are just among the handful, along with Don Henley from the Eagles, just a handful of the Hollywood celebrities giving money to Adam Frisch.

Now listen, these celebrities, you guys are allowed to do whatever you want. I'm not one of those people that says celebrities shouldn't get involved in politics. I don't care. I don't care if you're left or right. Like that actually has no bearing on whether or not I'm gonna watch your movie or listen to your music. It doesn't bother me. Everybody's entitled to their own thing. God love you for it, right? If you wanna give money, give money. Problem is, it creates this false sense of security for democratic candidates. Don't believe me. Why don't you ask better O'Rourke how that worked out for him in Texas against Ted Cruz. Oh, you, you. That's not enough for you. How about you ask? Uh uh uh, who is Mitch McConnell's opponent? Uh, God, I can't even remember her name now, but she raised a ton of money from out of state sources.

Same thing with Lindsey Graham's opponent. All of these people who, who didn't run horrible campaigns, but they make these national headlines. 'cause you're taking on a big despised figure and you're raising tons of money to do it. The problem is your money's not coming from the people who actually get to vote in that race. So it doesn't matter, like if Rob Reiner wants to give Adam Frisch, you know, thousands of dollars good for Rob Reiner, but that's not an extra vote for Adam Frisch. Yeah. He can run more ads. Wonderful. Great. But is that gonna change anybody's mind? I don't know. Probably not. So what it could do, as I said, is have the opposite effect. You look at any conservative website

Out there, and unless it's one of their chosen celebrities, which is usually some D-list person from the seventies that everybody forgot about, like Scott Bao or, or Ted Nugent. If you're not one of those folks, or Fabio, then Republicans hate you and everything you do politically, they're going to attack you. Right?
