YouTube Description
as posted by the channelTucker Carlson tried to downplay the speculation that he could be Donald Trump's running mate next year during an interview with Megyn Kelly this week, but he also went on and on like a lunatic about how much he loves Donald Trump and how he gets so much joy out of being in the same room as him. This is certainly a stark contrast to the leaked text messages where Carlson talked about how much he despised Trump. Ring of Fire's Farron Cousins explains why Carlson has changed his tune.

In an interview with Megan Kelly this past week, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson addressed the speculation that he could be the one chosen to be Donald Trump's running mate in 2024. Now, before I get into what Megan Kelly said and what Tucker Carlson said, by the way, it's totally grotesque. And I'm, I'm, I'm already disgusted knowing I have to read it to you in a moment. But think about this, uh, a couple days ago, a new report came out from Axios talking about Donald Trump and the project 2025, he's gonna fill the administration with loyalists. We're gonna see the return of some of the most, just the worst characters from his first administration, the worst characters from his first campaign. But there was another little note in there, said that Melania Trump is in Donald's ear telling him to pick Tucker Carlson to be his running mate.
Melania, I don't know how much sway she has over her husband. Obviously, she hasn't been able to get him, you know, to not cheat on her. So I'm willing to bet it's not a ton, but if she keeps up and makes some good arguments, Tucker could end up as Trump's VP pick. Now, that's not gonna help him win over any demographic or any group of people that he doesn't already have support from. So it's not a smart pick. But here's what happened in this exchange with Megan Kelly this week. Uh, Kelly asked Tucker Carlson, you know, would you serve as Trump's vice president if requested? And Tucker responded and said, it would be so unimaginable. I mean, I haven't led a life that prepares a person for politics. As I said, I, I don't think I have any horrible skeletons or anything. It's not that it's, it's just that that's not how my brain works. I've never done anything like that. I can't imagine spending time with politicians.
Hmm, okay. So you can't imagine spending time with politicians, even though your entire, you know, 20 year media career has been you spending time around politicians and interviewing them, not just here in the United States, but all over the world. So, like, I can't imagine having to be around politicians. It's only something I do every frigging day, let's not forget either, by the way, and the HuffPost pointed this out in an article, uh, Tucker Carlson had said he hates Trump passionately. That was released in the text messages that came out as part of the Dominion Voting System, lawsuit against Fox News, all those emails, all those text messages where Tucker Carlson talks about how much he hates Donald Trump, right? Well, I'm reminding you of that to read this next part from Tucker Carlson. This is where things get truly grotesque. Here's what Tucker told me, Kelly after saying, ah, I'm not built for politics. He said this, I'm a total sucker for Trump. Uh, personally, I get along with Trump really well, the closer I am physically to Trump. Like I I,
If I'm with him in the room, I, I always love Trump, but I think it's impossible not to. And you know, the experience, he's just charming. He then said, Trump is funny as hell and brave in his way and said, he's kind of psyched to vote for him, but serving in politics with anybody. I mean, that, that's just a lot for me to think about because I just don't think I'm really suited for that. Would anyone wanna see a guy like me run for office? So he leaves on that question right after kissing Donald Trump's behind repeatedly, disgustingly.
